  • Come for the music, leave because of the lighting

    Joep Beving is a brilliant composer and artist, and he did not disappoint on Sunday at the Corona (!) Theatre. Music is gentle and soulful, just as he is. With my eyes closed, the music transported me to a beautiful place. The house technical work unfortunately less impressive. The lighting was out of the 1980s REO Speedwagon school of light shows. Distracting and unnecessary, and took away from the contemplative nature of the music. An unfortunate aspect of an otherwise wonderful evening of music
