JOHN LEGEND IN CONCERT:
Piano virtuoso and vocal crooner John Legend has had fans awestruck ever since his 2004 debut album Get Lifted. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
John Legend got his start in music at an early age, playing piano and performing in his church choir. While in college, Legend led the a cappella group Counterparts, but it wasn't until collaborating with Lauryn Hill on her song "Everything Is Everything" that his career started to bloom. His 2004 debut album Get Lifted was the catalyst that sparked his rise to stardom, earning gold certification and three Grammy Awards. Since then, Legend has released four acclaimed albums, earned nine Grammy Awards, and collaborated with some of music's greatest hip hop icons including Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige and the Black Eyed Peas. His 2013 album Love In The Future was met with positive reviews, peaking at No. 2 on the US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and featuring the love song "All Of Me," a platinum hit in the US. Back on the road, John Legend is sure to delight fans with his romantic ballads on a string of highly anticipated tour dates.

Went with my hubby in celebration of our wedding anniversary and he, not being familiar with John Legend and a musician himself, was very impressed. Highly entertaining. The radio does not do him justice. This is one show that I didn't mind spending hardearned money on. John Legend is sets the standard in live shows. Nothing distracts from his God-given talent. John Legend sounded amazing live and was quite interactive and funny.
The concert was wonderful. The performer was warm and engaging. The venue was intimate and ideal for the type of performance.

This is difficult for me to write because John Legend is amazing and he was amazing that night. The concert was intimate and interactive but I need a beat. I saw John Legend in Minneapolis 4 years ago and it was the best concert I've ever seen. I missed the drums and the back up singers this time.
Please have him back at another time. He is the real deal - the concert was great. The only thing is that the venue was SO HOT - even though we did 'dress cool'. It would be nice to be more comfortable during the show.
The show was just great and John Legend is ultra cool. Such a talent. The venue was ridiculously hot, but he handled it total pro - sweat and all.
John Legend did not disappoint! He is even better live than I imagined. Not being super huge fan, I wasn't sure what to expect. But he really impressed me, and the rest of the crowd, with his storytelling and smooth demeanour, as well as his amazing voice! When the concert was over it seemed only too short, but just because we were all left wanting more. I would go again! And he's made a fan out of me!
Enjoyed this concert immensely. John Legend has an excellent voice, and piano skills not so shabby. I only knew some of his music prior to this concert, and was pleasantly pleased with the concert. Especially enjoyed his rendition of Bridge Over Troubled Waters, and also Dancing in the Dark. John had a guitarist plus a string section of cello, viola, and 2 violins. Very nice. Concert lasted appr 2 hrs, plus he did one encore.
He was warm, handsome, great story teller and wonderful musian.

John blew me away - his voice, piano playing and the whole show was amazing.
I've seen John Lengend at the Center for Performing Arts years ago when he was he last here and it was the best concert I've ever been to. I love smaller intimate venues, the Orpheum was perfect for this. I don't think it would be the same if this was at a larger venue. John is by far my favorite musician and someone you must see live. He sounds even in person. He's voice and presence is captivating. Absolutely beautiful evening. Amazing!
