John Mulaney nearly cracked my windpipe
by quarentayocho on 2017-06-06Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5The whole show was incredibly funny! John Mulaney had the whole theatre laughing with his reenactments of past events in his life, anecdotes, and his story about his dog, Petunia. The opening act was funny as well! She did a great job warming up the audience!

Fantastic show. John was hilarious. Highly recommend seeing him.
My face hurt from laughing so much
by brittsco on 2017-06-06Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5I went in with medium expectations - John Mulaney is a 'name' but not a huge one, and the one Netflix special of his I've watched was funny, but not side-splittingly so. But in person, Mulaney slayed. My face hurt at the end from laughing tons and I could barely keep my eyes open there were tears pushing out of them. Honestly, one of the best standup acts I've ever seen - highly recommend.
So Funny
by cherieleighm on 2017-06-04Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5I have seen many stand up comics (Amy Schumer, Jim Gaffigan, Russell Brand, Daniel Tosh....) and John Mulaney was one of the best I have ever seen.
John Mulaney is a witch and I like him a lot
by Petunia69 on 2017-05-16National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5This show was hilarious. Max the opener was great, and Mulaney was non-stop laughs. He's funny in a way that isn't forcing controversy or being overly vulgar. His style is great.
Good but was expecting better
by aly88 on 2017-05-15National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5I'm a big fan of John Mulaney's comedy, particularly how (usually) non-problematic his material is, especially for a straight white dude. However I think this time around he may have gotten a little lazy, and some of his jokes are a little cringe-worthy. Most of it was great, but I was expecting a little more based on his Comeback Kid special (which I think is fantastic). His opening act was pretty good as well, very similar to Mulaney's brand of comedy.
Amzing, hilarious, comfortable

John Mulaney - Kid Gorgeous Tour - So Good!!
by mimi85 on 2017-05-15National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5Hilarious! Very relaxed. Excellent audience involvement, relatable, and just down right funny. Worth every penny and will definitely go back when he is in Ottawa next.
John Mulaney kills
by Nimbin on 2015-10-28Métropolis - MontrealRating: 5 out of 5I've seen a lot of comics over the years and John Mulaney is one of the sharpest and funniest I've seen in a long time. The material was all new to me (I have a couple of his live sets on the ipod) and consistently strong throughout. Unlike most young comedians, he does a pretty clean act, relying more on timing and wits than tiresome cringe humour. Most impressive was his improve abilities - his interaction with audience members was just as funny as the regular material and flawless - the guy did not miss a beat. Well worth seeing.
