CASH WAS PAINFUL !!
by Cashfanman on 2013-06-01Hamilton Place Studio - HamiltonRating: 1 out of 5The band was really good. however it appeared as if they were playing with this hacky Cash guy for the first time. It looked like someone told this guy he sounded a little bit like Johnny Cash so he hired three great musicians and billed himself as a tribute act .His guitar was out of tune for most of the show and he was playing all the wrong cords ,lucky the sound guy was picked up on this and kept his guitar volume real low . when someone told him about his guitar he didn't know how to tune it, his jobber had to do it for him. I have no idea how this guy got booked at Hamilton Place. You would think if you were billing yourself as the Ultimate Cash Tribute that you would at the very least know some of the lyrics to the songs right ? not this Guy ,he had to read the lyrics of every song from a music stand that was right in front of him, so that tells me he is not even a real fan of Johnny Cash music, reading lyrics is ok if you are just learning a song and your playing in a bar but not professional if you are playing a venue of this caliber. I wanted to leave but the person that bought me the ticket was with me and didn't want to hurt her feelings....so bad , so long and boring ,so PAINFUL to watch and listen to....thankfully there was NO ENCORE, why no encore ? because no one wanted this train wreck of an act to go on for one second longer...just plain Amateur !! If there were eggs and tomatoes available.... it would have been a very messy evening ..............
