I thoroughly enjoyed this concert! I would drive 100 miles anytime to watch him perform!!
The sound quality in the Jubilee was incredible. I would recommend anyone to go see Johnny Reid. I thought he was ok when I went to see him. I went mainly because it was a gift for my girlfriend. When I left there, I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to buy his cd. I've got a whole new appreciation for his music. I loved every minute of hit. I could feel that loving energy in my chest. My girlfriend loved it too. It was my christmas present to her.
I have been to several concerts, but Johnny Reid is the best I have ever been to..each time I see him he just gets better and better which I did not think was possible. He is a very real sincere person which makes his concerts all the better. The Jubilee in Edmonton is a great venue for all concerts, well organized except for the parking
The show at the Jubilee was awesome and unforgettable. He has such stage presence and puts on such a great show!
Johnny Reid sings from his heart, it is like he is singing to each and every person that is sitting in the venue. He is genuine, full of energy, and he has quite the subtle sexy dance moves...awesome.....won't ever miss one of his concerts if he continues to play at the Jubilee
Johnny Reid was an amazing performance. The band was excellent as well. The only problem was the sound. Sometimes too loud. Sometimes muffled and some feedback. This was very disappointing for the Jubilee, as we mostly go to concerts there, as we always find the sound great and the Rexall mostly has sound issues.
After waiting 11 long months; Tuesday, September 14,2010 - the night to see Johnny Reid in Concert finally arrived!! When the lights went down, the curtains went up and Johnny Reid and his awe-inspiring band walked onto the stage, everyone in the building knew that something magical was about to take place. We were not to be disappointed... Johnny's singing talent is indisputable but Johnny is more than a singer just doing his job. He is a Man who truly Loves...[his family, his art , his Country (of Birth and the one that has embraced him so warmly all these years) and most of all his fans] and because he does Love and shares his Loves with his Legions of Tartan Army Troops, he takes you on a spectacular journey of tears and laughter through his wonderful storytelling, dancing and of course his singing! If you have never seen Johnny Reid and you have the opportuniy to see him don't pass it up. I know I am counting down until the next time I am able to see him again but until then ... Absolutely awesome! I did not know much of Johnnys songs but after I went I am definitely a fan!
This is the 3rd time I have seen Johnny Reid and he just keeps getting better and better. He has an amazing voice! His songs tell incredible stories of everyday life and of his life. He is grateful, humble, proud of his roots, and honestly and deeply passionate about his family, his fans and his music. He is also passionate about the charity he and his wife are involved in and that in itself speaks volumes. He is a genuine, kind, caring human being and he has a terrific sense of humor! He is very deserving of the Fans Choice Award and there surely will be great things in his future! And who can resist that accent!!!!!
BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!!!!!!! This was our 10th Anniversary Celebration Watching & hearing that voice all evening was amazing He shook my hand in the opening and at the end of the show my Husband changed places with me for the outside aisle to touch him again. A performer for "The People"
Even better than I had hoped! Jonny is simply amazing!
it was one of the best shows every, johnny went on stage and kept the crowngoing all night, him going into the crow went up one side and up the otherit was a amazing show and would love to go again.
Loved every minute of it. His manner, his voice, his stage presence, his dancing, the band, backup singers, everything was just awesome! I could have sat there all night!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE JOIHNNY REID CONCERT WASS SOO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SCREAMED SOO MUCH I LOST MY VOICE :P AND I WANT TO GO AGAIN SOO BADLEY.......AND THAT'S HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM!!! AND THAT ACCENT MAKES HIM EVEN HOTTER!!!!
There was at least 25 minutes when there was nothing. Someone should have come out to speak to us and tell us what was going on as people were becoming very restless. Also the music was very loud and sometime distorted. Johnny Reid was all I expected him to be and we will go to see him again if we get the chance.
I have seen Johnny Reid at Cook County, Lammle's, Big Valley and now at the Jubilee and each and every time he gets better, How I don't know, but WOW what a concert, what a man and what a performance at the Jubilee. Everything was Purrrrrrrrrfect!!! My friend who didn't really even know who Johnny Reid was is now a HUGE Fan. He absolutely loved Johnny and has already been out and bought the new CD.
Johnny is sooo down to earth! His songs have meaning and soul and relate to everyone's everyday life. He is very personable and you can tell that he cares for his fans! His life stories are always welcome. The fact that he sang in the Jubilee rather than Rexall was more than great...the acoustics are so much better and the seating is so much more comfortable and you don't get the annoying drunks bothering you! I hope that if he comes back to Edmonton it will be in the Jubilee again...or maybe the new arena if it ever gets built! I will be there for sure! Love you Johnny!
Standing ovation after standing ovation after standing ovation. That in itself says something about Johnny Reid as an entertainer. He walks through his audience and shakes hands, he dances with his fans not for a mere 5 seconds like other artists. I have never encountered anyone so grateful that people paid to see him...he thanked the audience numerous times throughout his show. He sings with his heart and soul...and you can tell he absolutely loves his job as it is evident in the way he takes the time to connect with his audience and belts out his tunes. There is no way that he will be playing at the Jubilee the next time he is in town...he will be in Rexall Place and I will definitely be there to cheer him on! You will not be disappointed. He's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
His concert was absolutely amazing. I will definately go to his concert again.
This is the second full concert of Johnny Reid's that I have been to. He just keeps getting better although I don't know how that is possible. His music has appeal to all ages and he is very down to earth. There is so much energy in his shows and he knows how to really communicate with his audience. He does a good job of mixing up the new songs with the old. Oh yes, and I absolutely love his raspy voice when he sings!
