  • "Johnny Reid" what more needs to be said?

by Thorsby on 2010-09-17Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I don't go to many concerts but If Johnny Reid would have kept singing/talking, I would still be there. He puts on the most amazing show involving both young and old. You forget he is an entertainer and not a part of your family.

The concert was unbelievable. Better than I was expecting, I would HIGHLY recommend for anyone, country fan or not, to see Johnny Reid at least once in their lifetime.

Johnny Reid's 'A Place Called Love' concert was incredible. I had a horrible seat but I loved every single minute of it. The opening act was wonderful and talented. While Johnny's talent was unsurpassed, I loved of members of the band he had on stage with him, backup singers, drummer, trumpet, sax, and trombone players, piano player, and guitarists all combined to make and unforgettable evening.

This is the second time I have seen Johnny Reid perform. This man does not disappoint., definitely get your moneys worth. The show was a very fast paced high energy performance. The whole place was just rocking. He sang his most popular fan favorites and then some songs from his new album. Was nice to hear the little stories behind each song. I would go again to his concert, and look forward to him coming back.

  • Would go again.

It is amazing how Johnny connects with the audience. You feel like you are just enjoying a great evening with a few friends. His passion shows through on every song and his smile and eyes are genuine. He looks like he is enjoying himself as much as the audience. The band is great and the additions from last show are wonderful.

by bikermama on 2010-09-16Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Johnny Reid 4 times in concert and he never fails to wow me. I've loved his music from the first time I saw him perform at West Edmonton Mall about 3 years ago, and as I've gotten to know his personality, I love that as well. The Jubilee Auditorium is a great venue for him and he makes everyone in the audience feel like he is singing to them..

I attended the Johnny Reid concert on Monday night in Edmonton and I must say it was an incredible show. He has such talent. His music is amazing and he sings from the heart. His music has so much meaning. He made me cry with a few of his songs. It was one of the best concerts I have ever been too. He also seems like a great man and such a wonderful human being. Keep up the good work Johnny.

Johnny Reid is a fabulous entertainer who gives the audience exceptional value for their money. He exemplifies the true meaning of a warm, loving gentleman who started from humble beginnings and is proof that hard work and determination, along with faith in God and the love of mankind will evenually reward itself. We have seen him several times before and he simply gets better. We loved the show and would recommend to everyone that if an opportunity arises to see him in the future, grasp it!

  • Johnny Reid is in a league of his own!

by SKSSMILE on 2010-09-16Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Johnny Reid a few times and he's always been amazing, but this most recent show I saw was unforgettable... He allows the audience to feel the emotion of his songs by sharing the stories behind them...and they all have a story - Johnny writes his music based on things that touch him, have changed him, have inspired him, have brought him to his knees... His sense of humor made us laugh over and over again, and his love of life, his family and his music touched everyone there, I'm sure of it. His inclusion of the audience in the show makes everyone feel special too. Johnny Reid is a must see...even if you say "country music" isn't you thing, the music isn't really country, it's more soulful...plus it's simply fabulous! :)
