Johnny Reid on Tour
When Johnny Reid introduces a song, his natural Scottish burr is plain as day, but as soon as the Canadian country star — who moved to Canada as a kid — starts to sing, the North American spirit inhabits him. Reid's voice is full of classic country twang, but at the same time it bears a gruff brand of soulfulness that can sometimes make him sound like a country version of Bruce Springsteen. The band pumping away behind him sports a similar mixture of musical flavors, bringing a dash of rock 'n' roll and soul to Reid's countrified tunes. Never one to put on airs, Reid brings a guy-next-door vibe to his performances, no matter how big the venue, and even when he's got the crowd singing along in an arms-aloft anthem, he still has a way of maintaining an intimate connection with his audience on every song.
Johnny Reid in Concert
When Johnny Reid was a child in the small Scottish town of Lanark, it would have seemed incredibly unlikely that he would grow up to become a Canadian country music star — but that's exactly what he did. Reid was 13 when he and his family made the move to Canada, and it didn't take long for him to soak up the North American vibe that would one day guide his career. In 1997 Reid released his debut album, Another Day, Another Dime. It wasn't until his third album, 2005's Born to Roll, that things really began to take off for Reid; the single "Gypsy Soul" hit No. 12 on the Canadian country charts, and the album eventually went platinum in Canada. Solidly on the path to stardom, Reid went on to score a long string of hits in the years to come. In the process, he also managed to rack up an astonishing number of honors, including multiple Juno awards, and a towering heap of awards from the Canadian Country Music Association.

Was my first time seeing Johnny Reid, such a great performer would definitely go see him again.
Fantastic performance, such a wonderful man with a kind soul. Katie Kadan was an added bonus to the show.
Another great concert, Johnny wasn't as energetic but still amazing. Disappointing not one Christmas decoration.
He never disappoints. So glad our group was able to go and enjoy this evening.

The show was fantastic!!! I loved the stories mixed in with wonderful Christmas songs!! Can't wait to now see him in concert again!!
Johnny and the whole band provided a fabulous evening of fun. Every musician is a star in his own right and Johnny's outsized persona is unparalleled for an evening of fun.
Good singer, good humor, very in- tuned with his audience.
So much heart went into every song! Love his stories. I lost it when he took his jacket off and gave it to a young boy in the audience.
This was the best ever concert that I have been to. First time I have seen him and he is just amazing. He is so engaging and has the audience in the palm of his hands. I will definitely be there next year.
Me and my friends love Johnny Reid and his concerts. This one met everyone’s expectations. Bring him back to Moncton next Christmas
Johnny Reid has a stage presence second to none. He is humble, funny, wholesome, a true family man and vocals to make you shiver. Cannot wait to see him again!!!!
Enjoyed all of the selections by the artist. Interaction with the audience was nice.
Johnny Reid is simply the ultimate entertainer! Everything minute was filled with laughter and joy! Best venue I've been to with lovely comfortable chairs and great view. My husband and I had a perfect day from start to finish. Came from NS, visited with family, checked in to the Casino hotel, enjoyed a delicious dinner at the buffet then the concert!
3rd time seeing Johnny Reid in concert and not disappointed in any of the concerts. A tremendous entertainer with exceptional unique vocals along with engaging audiences through his story telling. The musicians accompanying him are extremely talented and would be front stage at any event. The presentation in dress attire just compliments the level of professionalism that they all have in providing a super show. The last venue I went to was in Dec 2023 at the Moncton Casino and it would not have mattered where we sat as the the surroundings provided exceptional viewing and acoustics. Johnny portrays a very compassionate approach to what the world challenges are and he commits a part of his show to giving the audience a piece of his compassion towards the children who are so thrilled to be there. I would recommend his concert to all and remember I have attended 3 of his concerts throughout the past 10 years with all being exceptional entertainment.
It was packed jammed with his favourite songs. He had a little story explaining what each song meant to him. Katie Kadan was fantastic also.
Great energy, Johnny did not disappoint! His sense of humour couple with his amazing talent as a gifted singer left us feeling like it was a wonderful Christmas gift! His special guest Katie Kadan was a lovely surprise that wowed the crowd and had us clapping our hands and singing along with her powerful voice! Johnny had us singing along too and many of us in the audience felt like we were a part of the show! A great venue for seniors too!
The Lac Lemay venue was perfectly suited for this type of concert- - big enough but still with an intimate feeling. The show started on time and went well over an hour and a half. The music was excellent and the songs most appropriate for this time of the year. Johnnie Reid showed himsellf to be in tune with his audience in a very folksy way making the experience very friendly. I would go see another of his concerts anytime in the future.
