An amazing night of Jazz music. I have seen Josh Redman many times before, but he has grown, and that growth and talent is truly reflected in the performance, and the wonderful sounds being produced with this new group. They will be in Seattle in the coming weeks, you should catch them if you can...well worth the drive.

Joshua always puts on a great show. He displays technical facility with his intrument. His sense of melodic improvisation is amazing. He got me tapping my foot. I just couldn't wait for him to play again in between his solos and melody playing. The pianist was also outstanding. His fingers fly.

Joshua Redman and James Farm Sat June 25: One of the greatest and most awesome, electrifying, rivetting , mesmerizing, emotional performances I have ever witnessed !!!! It's hard to understand how someone or some group could be so great- almost unbelievable , except I was there and heard it . Thank you !!

  • Joshua was fabulous

Joshua has one of the finest tones through the altissimo range of the tenor saxophone, the even smooth lines punctuated by rhythmic barks from the low end were an absolute treat for me to listen to. There was on epoint where he produced a low bark that I have heard on the Bass Clarinet but never the Tenor, I call it the THUCK note! Very Funky. Glad I brought my Bass Clarinet with me it inspired to me play all the next evening.
