About

JP Saxe is the soulful singer-songwriter who broke out with 2019’s Grammy Award-nominated “If the World Was Ending” (featuring Julia Michaels). The multi-platinum artist’s catalog includes lush ballads like “Moderación” (featuring Camilo), “A Little Bit Yours,” “Line By Line” (featuring Maren Morris) and “I Don’t Miss You,” with guitar work by John Mayer. Saxe’s debut album, Dangerous Levels of Introspection (2021), earned the Canadian singer-songwriter acclaim from Entertainment Weekly, American Songwriter, UPROXX, and EUPHORIA. In September 2023, Saxe released his much-anticipated second album, A Grey Area, providing the name (and impetus) for his first world tour: A Grey Area World Tour.

Saw JP open for John Mayer in Chicago for the Solo tour. JP is such an amazing performer and I felt so lucky to see him live that I’m already trying to make plans to see him on his next tour! If possible, he’s better live than on his records! He has such great crowd engagement and is absolutely hilarious between songs. If you’re on the fence definitely buy the tickets and if you don’t know much of his music… what are you waiting for??

Super intimate show where you felt connected the entire time to every lyric. Somehow you felt right at home at the show.

Wish The Show Had Been In A Smaller Venue

by p.j. on 2022-07-18The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Honestly... maybe it's my age, but i found the concert MUCH too loud the bass was overwhelming to the point that i could feel my seat vibrating, and while I adore J.P.'s music and lyrics it was very hard to make them out over the other sounds. The same with Jessia's performance ... much, too much bass!! Would not hesitate to see him again, but not in such a crowded, noisy venue..

The greatest concert I’ve ever been to

Anthony Ramos’ opening act was electric!! His energy and skill in commanding the audience’s attention were a sight to behold. He truly warmed up the crowd!! JP Saxe did not disappoint, with flawless vocals and exceptional mastery of his instruments. I can’t wait until they are back in town so I can bring all of my friends with me.
