Outstanding job making memories for the kids

by Kevin on 2023-09-26FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Made sure we had the good seats right in the action & was not disappointed even for a minute! The actors keep the pace moving constantly & even talk to the kids a bit while they are preforming to keep them involved. Highly recommended for kids of all ages. Bring your phone as you will take quite a few pictures. If you or your kids like dinosaurs or the Jurassic Park movies even a little bit then this show is for you! Like nothing you have seen before.

A little mature for young kids

by Danielsk on 2023-09-26FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

The dino’s were great and my kids 2&4 were so happy but the storyline and language was pretty mature. Used a few swear words which I could do without.

The Kids and Adults Loved It

by BookDragon on 2023-09-26FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

I got tickets to take my brother and his two kids (f10, m8) to see Jurassic World Live. The kids love the movies and my brother and I have been fans since the OG Jurassic Park. My niece jumped at least 4 times and my nephew was literally on the edge of his seat. My jaw dropped when the big guy joined the scene. Great family outing.

    Average

by Elle on 2023-09-26FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

We attended Jurassic live in Hamilton. Prior to the show we were able to go on stage and look at Dino’s, jeeps and various photo ops which was cool. Not many people in attendance, tons of empty seats. I would say it was 1/10 full. Some seats were restricted views so be careful where you select seats. There’s a drop down screen that is used for projection that you need to be able to see (our seats had railings in the way). The show itself had lots of talking and it was heavy on story telling. The actors themselves were not speaking only lip talking as the voices were prerecorded. The voices did sound the same so it was very hard to follow who was speaking. The stage was too big for this performance as several times we didn’t know where to look as too much was happening at once. Some firework effects were neat however, could scare small children. Lots of motorbikes on stage at times doing tricks and racing around. The dinosaurs were well done however, not too much on the stage. The large dinosaur only came on stage two different times. This was the coolest part of the whole show. Again, lots of talking and story telling that children likely wouldn’t be able to follow as we as adults struggled to stay attentive. During intermission a gentleman was on stage tossing frisbees and trying to catch them. The kids enjoyed this but I struggled to make the connection to the show? This lasted maybe 20 minutes or so. We were happy when show was over. Children were not overly engaged so lots of kids were talking, crying and yelling etc. It was still a good outing but I don’t know if I would recommend for the price. We were disappointed. 5/10

    fine

by sk on 2023-09-26FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

too expensive for the level of the show. the dinosaur props looked very cheap and not realistic. if the show was cheap than we wouldn't have high expectations. YouTube promotions are not reliable in my opinion to what we saw

    Hmmmmmm

I (honestly) thought it was cheesey, but my 4 kids and wife absolutely loved it. And it was for them. Mission accomplished.

    Needed WAY more dinosaurs

by Dino Geek on 2023-09-25FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

While it was nice that the producers had taken the time to script and hire actors for an actual storyline, we were quite disappointed that the automated dinosaurs we'd come to see were few, and made appearances quite infrequently. Most of the time we were watching fight scenes between the actors, which we weren't interested in at all. When the show started with a gyro tour vehicle we thought, "Ooh good, we'll be taking a tour through Jurassic World and see all the dinosaurs."But nope. When we DID see dinosaurs, they were very well done! More dinosaurs, PLEASE!

    Good, but expected more

by Shannon on 2023-09-25FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

It was a good show. The Trex was cool.and the dinosaurs were cool. I was expecting more dinosaurs though. It was advertised with a Brachiosaurus, and there wasn't one. The kids got a little bored in some spots. I did like being able to go and take pics before the show.

    Fun Jurassic adventure

by Kate on 2023-09-25FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

The visuals for this show were great. The technology and costumes they use to make the dinosaurs come to life are great and they use clever sets to transition locations with the limited space. The dialogue was cheesy and I think would have been better if the actors had mics and it wasn't prerecorded. Overall a fun event!

    Time well spent

by Wildwolf on 2023-09-25FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

I went to this event on the first night with my son, it was a birthday gift and he waited all summer for the show, he is 7years old, and just loves Dinosaurs. When the show started his jaw dropped to the floor and stayed there all show, when it was done I asked him how he liked it and I was told he liked it very much and can we come back for the Saturday shows. I look forward to bringing him again when and if they do it again

    Disappointed

by mojobriens on 2023-09-25FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Being huge fans of Jurassic Park, I think we had bigger expectations for this show, given the whole Jurassic Park franchise. We did not expect people in costumes and dinosaurs rolling around on wheels. I think they could have done a better job on hiding the mechanics of this to make it more realistic, as the TRex and Indominus Rex were pretty good. The dialogue between the actors is complicated and, although meant to be educational, is difficult to follow for small children. The guy selling boomerangs at the intermission was one of the highlights, take that for what you want. lol Maybe that’s why there are so many tickets left to this show. We spent most of the show having a good laugh at it all. I wouldn’t recommend this.

    Amazingly surprised

by Kb on 2023-09-25FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

I heard from a few people the show wasn't that great but turns out they were confusing it with the walk around show. This shoe was absolutely outstanding. On par with disney on ice. Really amazing show can't wait to see it again next year.

    Exciting

by Kyla on 2023-09-25FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Definitely geared for children but am exciting experience. My 7 year old had lots of fun, thrills and scares. Be prepared to spend money on gifts and food as things are pricey. Good price for a good show.

Not bad but a bit boring

by Slava Z on 2023-09-24Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Good show but a bit too much lengthy conversations between the human characters and a bit too little of action and dinosaurs. Even though our grandkids liked the show and enjoyed it, I doubt they understood much of that talk, too adult/mature and too much for them.

Too much talk, so boring, there is nothing. Waste of time and money. If you want to see dinosaurs, go to ROM.

    Cute

by Queen B on 2023-09-23Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

I thought the show was cute, definitely geared to a certain age group. I would say maybe 4 to 12 year olds. My 7 year old grandson loved it, while my 9 year old grandson enjoyed it!! The special effects were good and the story was entertaining.
