Dinosaurs don't look too real. The big ones only appeared for a few minutes and there were only 3 of the big animatronic ones! Both us parents nearly fell asleep!
I had high hopes for the Jurassic World live show. However, it could have been much better. There was too much dialogue and not enough dinosaurs. It would be boring for young kids, my children included. I myself was bored after a while. The stage was too large for the show. It looked odd. Too much empty space not utilized well enough. The T-Rex made only one appearance at the end. Also, after all these years, it should be easy to make robotic dinos that can move on their own without support. Because it is the 'Jurassic World' name being used, it should have been much better.
There were some really cool affects but overall it was a little disappointed. Not what we had expected. Definitely more for little kids. You could see the people moving the dinosaurs. You could tell the actors we mouthing the script that was pre-recorded. The production set did not take up the whole rink surface. So although we were front row we were not close to the action. They could have utilized the whole space better. Honestly I had expected better special effects. The dinosaurs were very realistic BUT you could clearly see the operators sitting under the larger ones who were on a large platform thing with wheels and you could clearly see the whole lower half of the people operating Jeanie, Blue and the smaller ones. It was quite distracting. The best one was a baby dinosaur with it's mom. You couldn't tell anyone was controlling it!!!! Not sure why they couldn't do that with ALL of them!
Not what we expected, our kids are 7 and 8 yrs old and this was not for them. It was too educational and not entertaining for them. They found rather boring, the only excitement they got was the fire and small explosion. The love story and kissing scene was not necessary and irrelevant for kids show. I wish adults wrote stories considering the audience. They also kept using “shut up” in their script which was rather annoying and something we’re trying to avoid saying in the household. I would not recommend this for kids older than 7-8, more 4-5 yrs old.
The show was amazing, my daughter loved it so much. It was exciting, had the perfect atmosphere and special effects. Great for kids and adults
My husband and I loved it for our date night!! But then again, I always say we are child-free and he says that I may be child-free but he has one big kid!!!🙋♀️. Seriously, fun for all ages!!! And I loved that you get to go down to the event floor and meet the dinosaurs in person before the show. They were so life-like!!!
Overpriced for what we got. I found it boring. More suitable for the 2 to 8 year old demographics. Parents in my vicinity were texting. Also, what’s the point of a love interest in a show aimed primarily for a young audience? Action scenes were too “busy”. People all over the stage falling, throwing punches etc. just too much to focus on. Time wasted
Prices were the most jacked up Ive ever seen. 60 bucks for 3 snow cones. Show was entertaining enough.
we were so excited about the show. we were expecting a lot of action and adventures (sense-changing). But No. All the dinosaurs are just moving around, there is no fight between dinosaurs at all. The battle between people is....like kids playing. There is no real talk, everything was recorded. for the price, it's not worth it.
Amazing show! So much action and excitement for the kids! My 4 year old loved it!
Show was fantastic. On time, a 15ish min break about 40 mins in.kids had a blast. 2, 5 and 7. All loved it.
Wasn't too thrilled, high prices, sub par acting, clearly just lip syncing a vocal track. the dino suits were obviously people, or ontop of a machine that pushed them around the stage. I am a lifelong fan and I really regretted going.
Was very disappointed. Lots of talking, not too much action. Thought the story line would have been more about Owen, Claire and Blue. We sat on the side and couldn’t see the screen at all. I definitely expected much more. The stage was too big for the event. Not really worth it to me. Best part was giving a raptor head to a child in front of us LOL 😅 and seeing how happy he was!
The show is very basic, I wasted my time and money, would not come again, do not recommend it.
We took our 11 year old Nephew who is dinosaur crazy and it did not let any of us down. The dinosaurs were wonderful and the show was good as well. The only part that was not great was getting into the arena for our 3pm show. We arrived at 120pm so we were there for the 2pm door opening for the early show and the security guy had us line up and then at 150pm he started taking people from the back of the line and bringing them forward to make other lines so those of us that were waiting ended up behind people just arriving and then as we went to go thru security we got told my purse which is a backpack was not allowed inside so we had to go check my purse but when we got inside there were all kinds of people with backpacks on. There was a family of husband, wife and kid about 10 years old and each of them had a backpack on but my purse was in the checked bagage out in the lobby. Other than the poor communication skills of the scotia arena security the show was amazing.
We brought our 3.5 year old who is obsessed with dinosaurs and Jurassic park. The show was a bit underwhelming as the dinosaurs made very little appearances during the show. There was too much dialogue and martial arts in the show that could have been utilized to showcase the dinosaurs more. We wouldn’t recommend this show to anyone.
Took the wife and 3 boys great time wasn’t crazy busy the show was good nice steady story
The marketing was better then the show, wasn’t impressed as well as my children. Not worth the money spent.
Super great show ,will see again.loved the motorcycles, lots of action
