K.Flay Tickets

Amazing show. Lighting and sound was good. Venue was decent.

Got there early, Sir Fly was amazing, great energy. That said... they totally brought the crowd down talking about gun-control in the states. Important topic, not appropriate for a weekday concert in Canada... it clearly made the audience shift and changed the energy of the crowd. That said, they gave a great set, and their stage presence was amazing. It took about a half-hour to switch the stage, and K.Flay came onto the stage around 9:45 p.m., but I only stayed for an hour because... like most people... I have a day-job on weekdays... and this was a TUESDAY. I really wanted to stay, I love K. Flay, but even leaving at 10:45 - I was super disappointed I couldn't stay for the rest of the act. Ifyoucouldjust make weekday concerts more timely and accessible for us regular folk.... that'd be great. If it were a weekend, late nights are fine. That said, K. Flay's stage-presence was exemplary, she shared some personal stories, had a great big smile, and she danced around the stage. She was into it, and the crowd loved her! This is a great venue and I'll definitely be checking out more acts at The Union (on weekends).
