They were great live. Kaleo has amazing in person vocals, and put on a great show. But they were only on stage for about an hour which was a little disappointing. Opening band was Dan Mangan and he was amazing got the crowd into it and all. Kaleo was still a good experience but would like to see them on stage longer next time.
His voice is soooo good live. Just like the album.

Although the crowd was very much into the show,it was way too short. Coming in at barely over an hour, it was not good value for the money!

It was fab to have Dan Mangan back in Edmonton -- such a full, fabulous sound from two musicians. His voice and songwriting is as powerful as ever. Kaleo has a sound that feels like thick, comforting water. Could listen to them for hours.
Everyone was pumped to see them and so the vibes were great! They were amazing with instruments and we loved the strength of his voice.. a must see for sure. They will be around for many years to come!
Vocals are off the charts. Sounds better live. Amazing night!
Only would've liked to hear couple more tunes that they did at other shows but not here in Edmonton.
This concert was so freaking amazing! The sound these boys put out is unlike anything else out there right now. How is it possible that they can sound so good live? It really shows how much they put into what they do. We had a awesome time and were so glad we drove the 6 hours to see them! What was really cool as well...was the crowd spanned all age groups, we saw kids rocking out to 20 and 30 somethings, to our age and even seniors singing along and dancing during the entire show! My 13 year old daughter was over the moon to actually see them live and sing along with JJ and the boys! I cannot wait to see where their career goes from here! Keep it up boys...cause you've got life long fans that will pay their hard earned money to see you guys play any day! By far one of my top 3 concerts I have ever seen!
Not sure what convergent forces happened but there was a definite mutual appreciation between the band and audience that got everyone into the show. Kaleo were amazing with their Rockin Bluesy sound that transitioned well to some of their mellower tracks. Will definitely see these guys EVERY time they come back to Vancouver. Opening act - Judah and the Lions were a pleasant surprise that got the audience ramped up with their alternative bluegrass sound. Great night all around
