Katy Perry is a globally renowned pop artist and 13-time Grammy nominee. She began her music career as a gospel singer before making her pop debut in 2008 with One of the Boys. The album peaked in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and spawned Perry’s first No. 1 hit with the Grammy-nominated "I Kissed a Girl." Perry quickly skyrocketed to pop icon status, achieving unprecedented success with her 2010 album Teenage Dream, which hit No. 1 and earned a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year. The album also produced five consecutive No. 1 singles with “California Gurls” (featuring Snoop Dogg), “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” “E.T.” (featuring Kanye West) and “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.).” In 2017, Perry made history by becoming the first artist to earn three RIAA Diamond Song Awards for “Firework,” “Dark Horse” and “Roar.” Perry now has seven diamond-certified titles. Her distinctive style, blending provocative lyrics with catchy pop melodies, has made her one of the best-selling music artists in history, with over 70 million albums sold worldwide. Beyond music, Perry has expanded her career into television, serving as a judge on “American Idol,” released her own fragrance with Killer Queen and was the subject of the 2012 documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me. In 2024, Perry released her seventh studio album, 143, which features the lead single “WOMAN’S WORLD."

    Myself and my 8 year old daughter loved both opening acts and we absolutely adored Katy Perry. Her stage production was phenomenal: moving stages, trapdoors, escalators, fire, trapeze thing, musicans raised on ropes, kitty cats ... it had the lot! I loved her rendition of "Here we go again" with Kasey musgraves, though most of the audience will have had no clue what the song was but being a Dolly fan, I loved it! My only negative point is: she started too late - 9:25pm and played to 11:30 way too late to keep my kid out. We left at 11:10 and missed fireworks which we were really sad about by my little one was yawning too much between her squeals.

    Katy was exciting from beginning to end....costume changes were great....lighting was great...sound was great. She sang all of the songs we love. We especially loved how she performed "This is How We Do". Great idea having the prism glasses. Recorded last song with my phone with the prism glasses over the lens and it turned out fantastically!!

    Amazing show, grateful artist. Sooo much fun! I would totally tell all my friends to go to this show. I was missing that I did not get to her last tour, but this one was just as fun, interactive, and had amazing graphics. Wow!

    Two Opening Acts!!!! The second was country - gag! That was a boring, colossal waste of time! Then we had to sit through advertising for Katy's perfume and cover girl products as well as ads from her sponsors Staples. That hype and self-promotion was despicable. We paid enough money for the tickets without the need to sit through that crap. The concert itself was geared towards the pre-tween crowd. Think sunflowers lollipops and balloons. What a cheese fest! Katy you are too old for that kind of show. I would never go again. Grow Up Katy. You looked ridiculous!

    I enjoy Katy Perry's music but don't follow her personal life enough so I was slightly lost with the cat segment. I like that she slowed things down, but felt it lost momentum at times. Don't get me wrong, it was quite the show and the person I went with would likely give it five stars as she had never seen a production like this before. She just had some tough comparisons with other concerts I had been to recently.

    This was my second time seeing Katy Perry. I found this concert much better than the first time. Better flow to this concert. Non stop music for about 2 hours. Only complaint about the concert was the terrible opening acts. Was not impressed by ferras & Kacey musgraves. For Katy, I think she could've chose better openers.

    Katy brought her A game to the Prism Tour, it was lively, colorful, energetic. - had all her great hits. There was even time in the show her newer ballad side. She had the stage props and swings that you almost come to expect from her but that doesn't take away from the fact that it was all appropriate and awesome too watch. The only disappointment was the review from Rick Bell - hello Herald, can you get a appropriate concert goer to review concerts! Get someone that likes Katy, knows her music and hey, how about her target audience. Cause if you did, she hit the mark for those Katy cats.
