K-days didn’t organize the premium party at all. No special entrance for the premium guests, no bathrooms or drinks once you’re in. Everyone was quite rude when you tried to use an exit you “weren’t allowed” to use, which was kind of annoying when you just wanted to pee. Definitely never paying extra to get rerouted 80 times and yelled at by all the staff ever again.
We had paid for premium standing as a family of 4. My children aged 12 & 14 were excited to see the show. It was confusing as where we were to go while waiting for the show to begin. No one could tell us were the premium was. Once we found our way in we had great view just a few feet from the stage. It wasn't long before drunken idots started to mosh - very scary for young kids and smaller people in such a crowd. We moved to the back of the venue to so the kids weren't hurt in the crush. So much for premium standing. Despite all, the kids rocked out and Billy Talent put on a fabulous show!
They gave and excellent performance. Enjoyed them immensely!
Lots of fun! Many various things to do, not just rides! Way better than our usual Regina exhibition experience.
Packed and lines everywhere. Which is somewhat expected. They switched the concert area to a different place and we enjoyed it a lot more rather than walking down to the casino area. Hopefully they keep it this way!
I paid $1 to enter the gate to k-days! What a steal! So not only do you get to see, taste, and smell and experience the wondrous atmosphere of the different shows, vendors, games, and food stalls, I was able to see Alessia Cara live at the end of the night. FOR A DOLLAR.
My kids went with their babysitter and had a fantastic time. Getting the tickets from Macs was easy but I found trying to print them off very difficult. The girl that was helping me at Staples said that others had come in with the same problems and were having a hard time getting them. I think it would be a lot easier to have the tickets right at Macs or have electronic ones that you don't have to print off.

My daughter and her best friend went to the event and quite enjoyed it. She said it was really great to get out with her bestie on their own and do something together like that.
A bit disappointed with the live shows this year - not as many options and not of the same quality as I have seen in other years. However, Alessia Cara was phenomenal! So glad to have one of Canada's brightest new stars showcased. Would be nice to have more seating available at the outdoor concerts for those of us who are a bit elderly. Most of the concert was spent being jostled by young kids and having them come and stand in front of us - we're short! The screens definitely helped us to enjoy the show.
My kids had a fantastic time. It was our first time going and loved it!!
The ride all day pass is really the only way to be able to afford K-Days!! What with the $18 entrance and $6 rides, you would have spent your $47 within the first 5 rides.

we went with our 3.5 year old and 10 month old. it was great. lots rides to do for the older child, petting zoo etc was awesome. my little one loved looking around even though he can't participate much yet. and indoor so much stuff to do, food was great too. love the smoke turkey drumstick lol. time flies by so fast when you're having fun. wish we'd have more time. next time I may buy 2 days tickets instead of 1 day. I highly recommend kdays to everyone, esp if you have kids they'd love it.
We didn't get to see July talk because kdays had no preparation for bad weather.
I haven't gone in a couple years, and after this year I don't think I will for a couple more. I generally don't do much rides, I usually go for the exhibits, and to look around, but this year there wasn't much to see. There was only one room of exhibits this year, and it was mostly filled with the equivalent of as seen on TV items. In the past there were special theme exhibits, but not any more. Last time I went there was a Native American theme room and before that an Africa room, but nothing this year. Along with how expensive everything has gotten it just wasn't worth it.
July Talks was cancelled because of the rain storm, if we hadn't taken the kids earlier during the day and come back later for the concert, I would have been more upset... my kids are young so kids town was great but everything else was a bit too advanced for them. The rides were expensive because most of them we had to go on with the kids.
we came up to a line up of about 300 + people waiting to buy tickets.. Probably 30 - 45 minute wait or more..I whipped out my phone and bought two tickets online...in about 1 minute...went through and forgot about the line up...A great experience !
So, The last day was a completely different experience than the other day we went. Almost every employee stopped caring about their job on this day. We bought that new grilled cheese sandwich with mozzarella sticks in it, they gave it with jalapeno poppers instead. The kids went on the crazy mouse rollercoaster. We were trying to decide whether to get the pictures afterward (this was right before fireworks) and the old lady started yelling at us seeing if you've already seen the picture it's $10. Horrible customer service. Inside, there was a table with some spinning pokemon balls that lit up. I was going to buy some for my son and his friend if he could actually get it working. He tried a couple of times then the girl said "ok last try then put it back". After that, I didn't buy anything from that table. So, we learned on the last day they don't care about their jobs anymore.
It was a good experience. Had fun and enjoyed the outdoor concert and food.
