Keep Shelly in Athens formed in their namesake city in 2010 when producer RNR linked up with singer Sarah P. Their early demos caught the attention of indie music blog Gorilla vs. Bear, and soon the pair was releasing music on the blog's vinyl imprint Forest Family Records. After generating serious online buzz with several popular 12-inches and a split cassette release with Disclosure, Keep Shelly in Athens signed with Cascine Records and released their 2013 debut album At Home. Despite an increasingly busy touring schedule that included an acclaimed set at Coachella, Sarah P. left the project in late 2013. She was replaced in early 2014 by Myrtha, a mysterious new addition who made her debut on 2015's Now I'm Ready LP.
