    The shift in the atmosphere has been a long time coming. Kicked off by Corona and then Floyd. Those were the markers that quietly signalled a revolution on the way. The earth shifted, broke open and released the demons we see today. This concert is the beginning of a reckoning of wrong doings, greed, theft, the personal and cultural power to rise above all of it. Kendrick, I don't know all the lyrics to all of your songs but the ones that hit me - long before spring of 2024 touched the mitochondria of my cells and percolated and aligned with my intrinsic knowing. You have been gifted with expression of voice, pen and imagination and "I'm lovin' it."(in your voice). Courageous you are and we need more of it. Your silence is motivating and surprising. Your execution admirable. A live modern day execution of the 33 Strategies of War and the Laws of Human Nature. As a Canadian born Black person with my South American roots people fail to see that this is not Canada vs. US. It is about an ideology, an understanding, a calling out of what is wrong, abuse and its perpetrators. Socially, musically, lyrically, spiritually, financially. I hope people get beyond the hype of lyrics and geography and learn who they are, what they stand for and the role the play. May we all be so bold, fresh, iconic and truthful in our everyday lives as Kendrick has demonstrated.

    Saw him at the Scotiabank arena in toronto for the big steppers tour and it was incredible. His vocals were amazing, he got the crowd really into it and the show/visuals were amazing.
