It was a great night out with a super show. Really enjoyed the music and choreography of the big production numbers, and was quite impressed with the stage set up. Do yourself a favour and don't miss this amazing production!

    Kinky Boots

Kinky Boots Play is a wonderful play with an excellent message. The lead for Lola/Simon in this touring group was the weakest character of the troupe which was disappointing. I saw the play on Broadway when it opened and enjoyed it so much I wanted to see it again here.

    Kinky Boots Rocks

by Rainbow12 on 2017-02-22Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The show was uplifting, interesting and very enjoyable. The story was a topic we often encounter and we have to be true to ourselves and live with the consequences. The entertainment value was amazing and I still have the songs going on in my head

Stage set up and transition was incredible

by Tecia on 2017-02-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The entire show was better than most that we have seen. Stage set up great. Music and singing good. Talking was very good however the singing parts were very hard to understand and know what was being said. Too bad..

    What a great production

by UterlyAmazed on 2017-02-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Wow! Kinky Boots was sure a great musical with a great message. The singing and acting was great and it had an easy to follow story line. The gentleman who plays Lola (Simon) was amazingly talented (I believe his last name is Ghee). So unfair, he looked amazing in women's clothes and his legs were stunning, I was so jealous. Lol The only complaint both my girlfriend and I had was that we couldn't understand a lot of the words to the songs being sung. Both in our 40's, we feel our hearing is good, however not sure why we had a hard time understanding the lyrics. However, it was certainly worth seeing. We loved it!

Kinky Boots was made for watching

by Rozz on 2017-02-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I loved the spectacle of Kinky Boots. It had a great story and musical composition was by Cyndi Lauper. The costumes were also great (well, the boots, which is all that matters, right?) Explains why it won the Tony in 2015. Such a great message. The leads were fantastic, but really, there were strong characters in the entire cast. I'm glad my friend convinced me to get tickets.

    Changed my attitude

by RigGuyAB on 2017-02-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I was a little skeptical about seeing this performance. I consider myself a bit of a redneck and not always very tolerant or accepting of people who don't fit my idea of "normal"' After seeing this performance I had to take a sober second look at myself.. The song "not my father's son" reduced me to tears. When I got home I immediately thanks my son for the tickets and told him I love him.

Everyone should walk a mile in these Kinky Boots

by YegGuy on 2017-02-21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Truly one of the most moving experiences I've had attending the theatre. Harvey & Cyndi wrote magic & Lola liberally coated it all with glitter, love & tears...and a dash more glitter. My husband & I were both laughing and moved to tears many times. Brava to the entire company...and Jim J looks fantastic. I really wanted to go up to him & say Hi but I didn't want to get Too Close For Comfort!

    Kinky Boots great wardrobe

by Ithinkiamcool on 2017-02-20Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I thought I was in a good location the edge of the first balcony, it was difficult to hear the words of the songs. The acting was good, the orchestra was excellent. The over all story line was good. The promotion of sexual deviation though popular is extremely bad.
