way too long need to break it up into two shows! THE DANCERS WERE GREAT THOUGH

The mix of young dancers and elite dance crews made this show very entertaining! The costumes were bright, unique and beautifully eye catching. The music was a great reflection of the theme. The elite dance crews were amazing to watch. And getting to see the teachers perform a few dance routines was a wonderful edition to the recital. The last dance routine was a real unexpected, hilarious treat! The students did an amazing job with each and every one of their routines. Each routine was very organized, creative and fun. All the hard work and time the teachers invested was evident in each performance.

Kids were cute, but the show itself was a disappointment. The music was poorly cut and sometimes skipped. The younger kids seemed so unprepared. Two routines was just too much. Introducing every member of the teaching team was long and tedious. Won't waste my money on that again. It's too bad, cause the little kids are usually so cute, but no two kids from the preschool classes were doing the same thing at any given time.

Way too long!!! My child danced in only 1 number and it wasn't until over an hour and a half into the second act which meant she was waiting up into the dressing rooms until then. Since she was in the afternoon show as well, we were there from 12:30 that day. She was bored and tired by the time she had to dance her one number in the evening.Also too many trio and single dances

i thought the idea of going to three shows from 2 shows was a good move by the dance studio. Thank you for listening to parent's concerns. The kid's were great and as always, the little ones steal the show. Nice mix of some older kids as well to give the audience a taste of what the afternoon and the evening shows are full of. Congrats to the instructors for their patience with the kids...I know I couldn't do it! Great show...we went to all three shows this year and while it makes for a long day, it is really incredible to watch how some kids have really progressed. It really is a discipline that these kids work very hard for. My daughter will sleep till Tuesday now and I'm okay with that!!!

What a great example of the quality of dancers in the city today. The kids were incredibly cute and talented. As the kids got older on the stage, the "cuteness" was replaced with technical dancing and lyrical presentations. LA Dance has done a great job of bringing the best out of the kids and the instructors. Great show; great flow; and not nearly as long a show as I was expecting it to me. Well done Lucy!!!

I think the show was fantastic! I know that it was lengthy, but that fact is ALL recitals are long. In regards to the previous comment I completely disagree! The ladies did a fantastic job and commend them for having the courage to get on stage. Do not change a thing. The performance dance teams work very hard throughout the year and I love watching them perform. Keep up the great work!

Dance instructor who emceed the event was vey full of herself...thanking someone who does her hair? Really!!!!!! The dance recital is supposed to showcase our children and not to advertise for the school. Too much time and attention spent on the elite and explosion groups. One dance each would have been enough. The audience was there to see the younger groups perform and not the older groups. Their time was in the evening not the 2:00pm show. Ladies group was terribly sloppy. They looked like they did not want to be there. Too bad costumes did not take into account all body types. Too long a show 2:00-5:30pm.

All of the dancers did amazing and great to see all of their dedication, determination and effort come to fruition after a year of hard work. We enjoyed the theme and hearing the different worldly artists and music. We had 2 daughters in 2 different shows so I found the 2nd one to be quite long. I do have to give kudos to all of the staff , parents and volunteers of LA Dance Academy because as much as it was a long day for me, I know it was so much more from them so their commitment has to be applauded. On a side note, I still cannot believe in this day and age, that people are either oblivious or choose to ignore simple theatre etiquette. There were people by us who insisted on talking very loudly throughout the performance and these were grown adults, tsk, tsk.

Loved this show. A nice variety of different types of dance. My favourite was the Hip Hop and competitive groups! Also, loved the Broadway "classroom" performance and the Lyrical act. The only thing I would have changed is the amount of talking beforehand. We just wanted to see the dancing! A one-minute intro is all that's needed!

This is my first year to attend the LA Dance Academy recital and it was really Great!! Very entertaining and Great job to the students and their dance instructors !!

Dances were well executed and costumes terrific, however, with a duration approaching 3.5 hours, it is far too long. At the 3 hour mark many of the guests were leaving, which is unfortunate for the remaining acts. Please look at reducing the length of show!

Show was fantastic, the only issue was the little baby behind me that would cry every time the lights went down. Honestly, if your kid is going to cry though every show, please get up and take them outside.

Great to see that with the feedback given last year there was some very positive changes this year.....Enjoyed the show and loved to see all the little ones who really do steal the show.The elite groups were great and there was a good mix of genre.Loved the fact that there was 3 shows vs 2 very long versions...... Great job to all....

Although the dancing was well polished the length of this event is obscene.

I thought that for the pre-schoolers each dance was just long enough and with having 2 dances for each group it gave them enough time on stage. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back again next year,

The performance (performers) were outstanding as always. The talent of the dancers is high calibre. I am proud to say that my daughter is one of them!

LOVED IT AS ALWAYS BUT i DO FIND THAT IT IS A LITTLE TOO LONG.

Enjoyed watching all the different styles of Dance, but have to admit that the little ones were the best .......Song choices were great with old and new variety. I have to say that the show overall was way too long and by intermission we were done......Which is a shame cause we did not see some of the other dance groups.... As usual ,Parking was expensive and varied depending on the lot from $7.00 to $10.00 or having to go back to your meter to plug with change so you didn't get a ticket.
