BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Chilean rock group La Ley was formed in 1987 by members Andres Bobe, Rodrigo Aboitiz, Luciano Rojas, Mauricio Claveria, and Beto Cuevas. They broke onto the Latin music scene in 1990 with Doble Opuesto, a hit record that launched them to stardom overnight with popular singles like “Prisioneros de la Piel” and “Tejedores de Illusion”. Since then the band has toured the world, won two Latin Grammy Awards and a Grammy Award, and released six more acclaimed studio albums including 1995’s Invisible and their 2000 platinum-certified Uno. Although they’ve had several lineup changesover the years due to the tragic loss of frontman Bobe, La Ley still possesses the same alt-rock sound they had when they first started.
