The characters and musical numbers were a lot of fun to watch.
Took my three girls to the Sunday Matinee and we all thoroghally enjoyed the performance. Very cute and upbeat.
It was quite exciting. A little different from the movie to accomodate audience. Lots of flirty jokes and laughs...Lots of talent and great performance. You have to have a good sense of humour to truly enjoy this show. I am a real Reese Whiterspoon fan and she represented her quite well. Overall good show !
good story.very good actors.over all i would say is more for teenager.for my taste a little bit to simple
The men were hot the women were great, the singers were wonderful, it was funny and wonderful.
Good production, music and dance numbers were “tight”. Sound was a little too heavy on the volume and treble (high pitched female voices often made you cringe). I would rate this as a 5 star had the sound mixing been better.
Legally Blond was the most fun you can have legally! A great way to spend New Year's Day...fantastic music, great actors..and a fun enjoyable experience. A must see.
It was really well done. My 15 year old niece loved it too
Took my daughter to see Legally Blonde on New Year's day. We loved the movie, but were not sure what to expect of the musical. We were pleasantly surprised, and liked the changes they made for the musical, like the whole Riverdance bit. Really liked Emmett, Paulette, and of course, the UPS guy :). We had a great time!
My 10-year old and I went - we both loved it. The show was very funny! We both laughed alot.
I thought "Legally Blonde" was well done on all levels. The power of some of the female voices was astounding especially the gal who played Elle. Great dancing as well.
We had great seats but a lot of the lyrics were not clear - I thought the show was cute but didn't have much of a wow factor. Let's put it this way, I don't think in 40 years, you will see this show survive as a gem of musical theatre.
Lead was reasonable singer but material was adequate at best. The majority of the songs were screamed rather than sung and thus very difficult to hear the dialogue. Couple of cute scenes but not a single tune you can remember as you leave the theatre.
Lots of energy & great singing. Very enjoyable show for us. Took girls aged 9 and 13 they had smiles on their face throughout.
The musical Legally Blond was outstanding. We went as a group for New Years and all had a great time. The lead (E Wood) was amazing - great voice. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a fun evening of entertainment.
I felt the first half of the show started off a bit slow....the second half after the intermission was very upbeat, funny and entertaining.
Wouldn't recommend this play myself. Sound quality was not the best. Hard to hear the words. Had I not had a brief understanding of what the play was about may have fallen asleep.
very light and frothy.....poor replica of the movie
I thought it was very well done, but we found it very difficult to understand all the words the people were singing. It was very hard to understand...not sure why. Their voices were great, the music was great, but the only time I truly understood what was being said, was when the orchestra was not playing and the characters were just dialoguing.
As a whole, the show was quite entertaining. However, the shrill sound of the "valley girl" singing along with the extremely loud orchestra made it extremely hard to understand about half of the song lyrics. Though the plot was easy to follow, there were numerous jokes that I knew I'd missed because I could not understand what was being said. However, the characters were extremely funny and the show had a lot of heart. It carries a very good message, therefore, I would recommend it, but I would probably not pay to see it more than once.
