    So much talent

by Woolie on 2011-04-10Lee's Palace - Toronto

I'm not going to write too much. All I wanted to say is that Liam Finn can do it all. Amazing guitarist. Amazing drummer. Amazing singer. Amazing showman. He is a band all by himself. But the addition if two members allows him more room to do what he does best: rip his instruments. His guitar and drum solos will blow your mind. Well worth the money.

    Liam Finn @ Lee's Palace

    by 9091beatle on 2011-04-09Lee's Palace - Toronto

No other performer that I know of has more energy on-stage than Liam Finn. Period I gather that Liam loves coming to Toronto, even if he can't remember where he is at times. The entire Set had was amazing to see, as usual, and I've seen him about 5 times now but this one was a bit special because I took my Son to see him for the first time and he loved it.

    Fantastic

    by RJ29 on 2009-10-31Lee's Palace - Toronto

On Thursday, we saw Liam Finn and EJ for a fourth time. This show was no different then the previous three - awesome. I find it incredible that just two people, with what seems to be limited instruments can make the sound that they do. For anyone that is interested in something a little different than mainstream but still has a rock-folky feel check these two out, well worth it. As a side note, I also enjoyed the opening performer, Miracle Fortress. He definitely was different, but good.

    weird in an awesome way

by Anonymous on 2009-10-30Lee's Palace - Toronto

the opening act was one of the oddest ones i've seen. theatrical in an 80's stylized way and incorporated light into the art. the main act was even better than i'd been told. two people pulled off a performance that sounded like 7 people playing - they are both so talented.

You gotta see him to get it.

by Toddler on 2009-10-30Lee's Palace - Toronto

Liam Finn's music is good, but you don't fully appreciate him until you see him perform. A self sampling machine, who poors himself into each loop or smash of the drum he makes. I've never quite seem this level of sampling before from a rock performer. If you get the oportunity to check him out ... do it!
