About

International superstar Lionel Richie boasts a discography of albums and singles that is second to none. With more than 125 million albums sold worldwide, an Oscar, Golden Globe, and four Grammy Awards, Richie has been honored with distinctions including 2016 MusicCares Person of the Year, 2017 Kennedy Center Honors, and the 2022 Gershwin Prize for Popular Song by the Library of Congress. In 2022, he was both inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and received the 2022 American Music Awards Icon Award, his 18th AMA award. In September 2023, Richie concluded his acclaimed 20-city "Sing a Song All Night Long" arena tour featuring special guests Earth, Wind & Fire. Now completed his 6th season, Richie serves as a judge on ABC's "American Idol." His 7th season on the panel is set to debut in spring 2024. Also in 2024, Richie continues his longtime residency, now at the Wynn Encore Theater, in "Lionel Richie: King of Hearts."

    This was our first time ever at Caesars Colosseum. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay, even our night spent at Caesars Hotel. Truly 5 Star all the way. We are certainly looking forward to seeing another concert at the Colosseum in the very near future. We would sure love to see Brian Adams and Fleetwood Mac.

    The show was great with two hours of terrific songs and memories. Seats were very uncomfortable having to set on a dinning table style chair for the show.

    Lionel Richie gave his audience a remarkable performance from the time he said "HELLO" until he concluded with "WE ARE THE WORLD". He really did play all the hits all night long and he did it with energy, emotion and passion!

    Mr Richie has not changed in all the years he has been in the music business. He sings amazingly and shows a great focus to his fans in the audience. He sang so many songs that he has had during his career and they sound as great as they did when he first sang them. He not only covered songs from his solo career but he also covered many Commodores' songs also. The gentleman that played the saxophone was Awesome ......

    Vocals were amazing and very clear. The sets where Lionel was solo were some of my favourite. I saw him in 2006 at Maple Leaf Gardens for his Dancing on The Ceiling tour and he was as entertaining now as he was then!! Would go and see him again in a heartbeat!

    I went with my sister-in-law and we had a blast! The best part was being way up top and once the show started they invited us to move up to whatever seats were available and we got so much closer, it was amazing :)
