Undoubtedly the best thing that's ever happened to me
This was my first ever concert, and it did not disappoint. Ella had such a good stage presence and the sets were amazing. She is a legend, I was very pleased.
From the organisation, down to the performance itself, I genuinely enjoyed this experience. Meridian Hall is already such a gorgeous venue, it has beautiful acoustics being an orchestra hall. I love the way the seats slant, and how there's an overhang for the audience as well. Leaving and coming back inside were a breeze with the team at the doors, they were amazing and very friendly. Specifically a team member, named Sean, I ran into a couple of times, and they were very helpful and so kind to me. I made note to remember his name for this review. And of course the concert itself was amazing, it was something I'd trade my firstborn child to see again.
I love the venue for this kind of performance! It felt intimate and the acoustics were amazing!
Lorde is an excellent performer and singer. Her stage design is always beautiful. I liked that this venue was small than her last show. It was more intimate. No lights or speakers were in the way of the view. The security guards were super nice and helpful.
probably the best concert i have been to, this was my 3rd time seeing lorde live and i absolutely loved that she chose to do a smaller venue, it felt a lot more intimate and it was simply amazing
She slayed the house down boots I am deceased. Yassssss
Lorde is the most amazing human being and so loving and her performances are unbelievably amazing!!
Lorde put on amazing performance with a great set. I loved how she talked to people every now and then, checking on us, and had some little intimate moments with fans. Everything was great from start to finish. Awesome venue, Remi Wolf was fantastic, and amazing vocals. I will definitely go to her next tour!!
The set was amazing, Ella sounded awesome and the crowd had great energy. I met some really nice and funny people in my seating section which made the night all the more memorable. This was my first Lorde concert so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was better than anything I could’ve imagined! I will DEFINITELY be getting tickets to see Lorde in Toronto again in the future. My personal favourite performances of the night were Green light, Solar Power when the confetti dropped and Perfect Places.
She was amazing live so good I would go to more shows if I could
One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. She put on an amazing performance of her new songs but also some past ones. The stage setup was so cool and she seemed so genuine. I loved it!!
literally the best experience, she seems like such a kind and humble person. I love how she did like half her old songs and half solar power. The vibe was great and the set was beautiful. Remi also had amazing vocals and was very entertaining.
Meridian Hall was a great venue, and Lorde is an incredible artist and performer. 5 stars easily. Not to mention Remi Wolff was awesome too.
For 9 years now I have believed ella to be one of the most talented people on the planet. I bought my ticket 32 hours before the show because I kept seeing videos of how beautiful her shows were. I was unable to get tickets when they first went on sale. I do not regret a thing. This experience was truly life changing and the atmosphere that ella creates is magical. Nostalgia chasers and people who just like to dance have a spot at the Solar Power tour. I truly believe nothing has ever been done like this before and it will be hard for anyone else to beat.
I have been a massive Lorde fan since two years ago, so I am going to be a little biased in this review. The atmosphere was amazing! Toronto was extremely happy to see Lorde! While I cannot say every city will have the same reception, it is safe to say the crowd will be eager to roar for Lorde. Be prepared to stand, dance, and sing along for hours because her music and performances will compel you to! The music is phenomenal, which is to be expected with an artist of the caliber of Lorde. I will not spoil the track list, but be prepared for some great surprises! The venue is a bit claustrophobic as it is an orchestra rather than a traditional, open arena. The change in setting does not matter since she still manages to deliver a night you will never forget. My advice will be to adjust your expectations with the setting quite a bit, but it is still nothing to be worried about. The performances Lorde gave are excellent and unique. I will not get into details, but the production value of the show is superb! I was impressed by how much effort went into the non-musical elements. There is a theme to everything too, which is so awesome! Overall, this is a solid concert! I would rate it a 10/10. If I could go higher, I would! Thank you Ella for an unforgettable experience, Ali
Interacted with the audience and genuinely seemed glad to be there. Amazing set and set list.
couldn’t have asked for a better night, it was show stopping actually
I went on april 9th, and omg, i was screaming at the top of my longs in every song i knew the lyrics. Lorde is such a peformer and all though solar power wasnt really the akbum wr expeteced, she turned into something else!!
I attended both nights of the Solar Power tour and it was quite literally the best concert experience ever (so far)!!!!!! The crowd was energetic, Lorde is a natural born performer, the set design was INSANE, the venue was intimate yet big enough for a large crowd. When she started shushing people on night 2 I thought we were gonna get another “Writer in The Dark” moment but we didn’t :((( If Lorde ever comes back to Toronto take all my money. I’ll sell my soul to see Ribs and Liability live again
