Great experience! Just wish the stage lights didn't affect my view as much!

About
Though still a teenager Lorde is swiftly establishing herself as a mighty force on the music scene, co-headlining shows with established acts like Vampire Weekend and Arctic Monkeys.
The young yet prolific New Zealand-born singer/songwriter, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O'Connor, released her first EP The Love Club, her first No. 1 single "Royals", and her first album Pure Heroine back-to-back-to-back. Her sound is a sparse affair that confidently drifts on the strength of beats, loops, and phenomenal vocals.
The pop and alternative worlds don't always mix, but fans of both styles have flocked to Lorde's electropop-driven sound and soulful voice. And despite her pop successes she's managed to craft a bit of an anti-pop image for herself, not afraid to sound off with opinions - both good and bad - about fellow young stars. Fans who've bought tickets to see Lorde in concert rave about her raw talent while looking forward to watching her grow as an artist and performer.
Lorde was discovered when she was just 12, after her performance of the Duffy song "Warwick Avenue" at a school talent show caught the ear of a record label talent scout. When she's not writing music Lorde listens to pop, hip hop, and electronic music and cites soul legends like Otis Redding as well as modern acts like Bon Iver and James Blake among her influences.

Rating: 1 out of 5by Anonymous on 2018-04-01Air Canada Centre - Toronto Worst performance ever. opening act was ridiculous and continued to ruin what little of a show Lorde put on. one and only prop was a fan blowing her hair. less than 40% sold at ACC. complete waste of $300!!
Rating: 5 out of 5 INCREDIBLE.
by Hardfeelingsloveless on 2018-04-01Air Canada Centre - TorontoShe was absolutely incredible. I knew she’d be amazing, but she exceeded all of my high expectations for the show. Not only did her voice blow me away, but the stage was also beautifully built. The speech she gave in the middle about being yourself and such was so beautiful as well. She’s just such a humble and fun human being, I would recommend her shows to anyone and everyone.

by AlienBlair on 2018-04-01Air Canada Centre - TorontoI knew Lorde would put on a good show... But wow, I had no idea exactly how lively, energetic, and fun it would be! Everything from the aesthetics to the dancing to the singing exceeded my expectations. Lorde is sweet, down to earth, and loves her fans. She puts on the type of show that'll make you sing and dance like crazy, laugh hard, and feel like you are witnessing art being performed right in front of you.
