This was the third time my wife and I have been to one of Loreena McKennitt's performances. The first time was thirty years ago, three months after we first met. We had high expectations for the most recent concert and were not disappointed. The members of the band were all excellent at their craft and added an almost magical depth to the music. As for Loreena McKennit: she is a national treasure!!
Lorena is a beautiful singer and story teller. She is an absolute delight. And her band members are brilliant musicians who are an absolute treat.
Loreena was amazing! She and her band were delightful to watch. Definitely worth the money and the time.

It was our fifth time seeing Loreena in concert. We have seen her perform in five different venues and this was the most comfortable with incredible acoustics. It was at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium. Loreena was in fine form and her band were tight and accompanied her perfectly. A very enjoyable experience.
Captivating. Such a gracious performer, delightful stories AND beautiful voice and music. Her band was excellent too!
Loreena’s voice and her musicians truly take you to another place and time. Wish she would come to Calgary more often.

Not sure I’ve ever seen an artist play an album top to bottom. Such an incredible job of such a classic album. Made it look effortless and sounded so good. She went way up on the cool scale IMO.

Loreena gave an amazing performance and her instrumental accompanimental artists are amazingly talented. Her vocal ability is awe inspiring. The show was over 2&1/2 hours long and flew by so quickly. Thanks Loreena for sharing your verses with us, can’t wait for you to return.
What an amazing vocalist, that leaves your skin tingling as her energy filled the venue. The back and forth, between her piano and harp, was just lovely and her first act, mixed with her social commentary, was refreshing and welcomed.
I have seen her three times and each time been worth it. Overall a wonderful venue and evening.
What an amazing talent. Her beautiful haunting voice had me in tears. So happy to have had the opportunity to see her in person. Have been a fan for many years. Come back again!

Went with my mom. What a beautiful experience. Loreena & her musicians & crew put on an exhilarating and heartwarming performance. Such a powerful voice! And bonus: she's a great storyteller ;)
It was great seeing her again in her band I found that the sound this time was not as clear as it had been in the past I found that at times the violinist was louder in the mix than normal and I found at times it was hard to understand the words that Lorena was singing I'm not sure what was off with the mixing but there is it was just not as clear as it used to be
The concert @NAC.. Loreena McKennitt @Loreena was amazing. No sign of aging. In fact more mellow clear tones. Due to sickness the cellist was absent, but the three accompanists with Loreena made an amazing performance!
30 years ago in 1992 My daughter was born on a brutally cold winter Calgary night in mid December. Loreens's To Drive the Cold Winter Away and Hillard Ensembles Officium were the 2 albums my daughter heard the most during the first few months she was born. She believes that exposure is why she loves your music and 30 years I took her to hear you live for the first time. The music was an inspiring gift that Loreena and her musicians give to their audience. We are grateful. TDTCWA has been our family Christmas album since 1992. My son has introduced his sweetheart to Loreena McK. and she is now an admirer. If stars could sing they would have the voice of Loreena in all its crystal, & delicate clarity and rich & mysterious strength.
Loreena is the best of the best. I’ve seen her twice and both times I’ve left feeling a real connectedness to people, both past and present. She’s truly magical!
