Excellent way to spend an evening

by Eclecticmusicfan on 2010-11-27George Weston Recital Hall at the Toronto Centre for the Arts - Toronto

The performers where very entertaining with a mix of excellent music and humour. The Rectal hall was the right kind of venue for such a group. The only fly in the ointment was the sound quality. For some reason not all words or comments were clear from our vantage point. The collection of songs, tales from the past as well as from the road were very enjoyable. Very well done and very worthwhile.

What a great concert. Lot's of great songs, Awesome songwriters, Great vocals and instrumental, but the bonus is the humorous onstage banter. They'll have you laughing constantly.

    Lunch at Allans Fabulous!

by dwgpound on 2010-11-26The Studio at Hamilton Place - Hamilton

The music was great throughout the show! Thomas can still belt it out! Acoustics were fantastic! Seating not the greatest unless you were up much closer. Really appreciated their willingness to meet and greet the audience after the show. Special thanks to Murray for signing my walking boot. Pretty neat!!

    Lunch at Allen's OUTSTANDING

by ADSICE on 2010-11-26The Studio at Hamilton Place - Hamilton

These guys are as comfortable together as an old pair of shoes. Each highlights the other's solo moments, with group harmonies that sound as if they have been together since day one. The venue at The Studio was perfect, close enough to be personal, but large enough to accomodate an appreciate crowd. I'll be the first to but a ticket when they come back.

    Feast at Allens!

by BlackendRed on 2010-11-26The Studio at Hamilton Place - Hamilton

It's not often that we attend musical events where depth of talent is the primary attraction. Here, it was depth, width, height and any other standard of measurement you may fancy. A superb evening of unforgettable emotions. Music of the highest quality. Memories of a lifetime.

    Great Show and Venue

by Dennisdp on 2010-11-26The Studio at Hamilton Place - Hamilton

This was my 4th time seeing these great Canadian songwriters and it was the best yet.The Studio at Hamilton Place is an intimate setting for maybe 300 people with obviously no bad seats in the house. It was great to hear some of the new material off of a new"More Lunch at Allens" album interspersed with such classics as Painted Ladies and Living in Marino Del Ray. 4 singer sonwriters ,there acoustic guitars and a piano, and the sound was full and beautifully harmonious.Don't miss these pros when you have the opportunity.Oh and one more thing..you will laugh ...a lot!!

    Lunch at Allens

by suzieN on 2010-11-05Arden Theatre - St Albert

This show was outstanding. The music was fantastic and the joy and laughter they brought to both my husband and myself is indescriable. It is so nice to come out of an event feeling relaxed, lighthearted and face sore from the laughter. These four, are such a compliment to each other and truly enjoy performing. Thank you for a great evening, I was sorry to see it end.
