Wow! What a brutal non stop show of force!

by Ang on 2020-02-10Théâtre Corona - Montreal

Machine Head are the undisputed kings of brutal, face and ear pounding metal. They finished the show just like they started it... with amazingly tight, hard style metal, at times fast, at times slow, melodic metal... simply wow. The crowd was engaged from start to finish.... it was a hot, sweltering wednesday night... yet jammed packed and simply metal!

    Burn MyEyes

by Jules on 2020-02-09The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Machinehead was FANTASTIC!!! The sound from the balcony was excellent. Security at the venue was plentiful and friendly but professional. Wish there was a bar and washroom upstairs but other than that cant wait to see another topline band at the Danforth Music Hall...maybe Lamb of God or Death Angel?!? Cheers!!

First MH concert and one of the best in years

by Adri on 2020-02-08Théâtre Corona - Montreal

Machine Head really rocks! This was my first Machine Head concert and I was AMAZED!! I was surprised that here was no opening band, until I realized that there was absolutely no need for an opening band! Machine Head played for three hours!! They were as energetic at the end as they were in the first song AND the original members popped in!!! The venue was small, which I think is awesome, as they are close to the audience; it was just amazing!!

by jemisipe on 2020-02-07The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

What an amazing show! Machine Head always puts on a really, really awesome show. They engaged the crowd in every song and played for hours. I'm so glad that I went. I'll definitely see them next time they're back in Ontario.

    Kickass

by Alex on 2020-02-07The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Absolutely amazing band with gobs of energy and great sound. The Danforth music hall is also one of my favourite venues even though I’m sure machine head would’ve filled a much larger venue. Must see

    Great show.

by Haroldramone on 2020-02-07The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

For some reason the show was moved ahead and started early. That was perfect. Rocking out to Machine Head and hoisting a couple of beers on a school night, it was a Tuesday, was awesome, got home at a decent time. I don’t know the band as well as most of the folks there, but what a performance. Really enjoyed it.

Amazing - Machine Head are as good as ever!

by Thorules on 2018-03-05The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

The show was Machine Head at their usual best. No openers, no bullcrap - just 2.5 hours of solid metal goodness. Considering Rob was coming down with a lung infection, it was even more impressive.

Amazing 2 hours and 40 minute marathon

by jasonipod2 on 2018-02-16Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I saw Machine Head at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. I first saw Machine Head on February 4, 2015 at the Phoenix Concert Theatre, which was also just them, but they played for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Once again, it was just Machine Head and this time, they started at 8:00 PM SHARP and played for 2 hours and 40 minutes. The band played 23 songs as well as a guitar solo by Phil Demmel and a drum solo by Dave McClain. Highlights included the band opening with Ten Ton Hammer for the first time since 1997 and playing Seasons Wither to name a few. Also, the interaction and the connection with the fans are what also make Machine Head a fun band to go see live. Not to mention the prices of tickets are very reasonable: whereas a lot of concerts are getting more expensive, I paid $39.25 with fees for a balcony seat for that show. Robb sounded good, but did sound off a few times. At the time, I assumed it was because of their gruelling touring and long sets, but Robb was also sick. In fact, the band played for only 40-45 minutes in Pittsburgh on Thursday, February 15 because Robb had no voice left due to being sick. Therefore, I was very lucky to see Machine Head play a full set and they still played a great show. I don't think it's the last time I will see them, but that show won't be easy to beat.

An Evening With Machine Head was amazing

by jasonipod2 on 2015-02-05Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

Awesome show with Machine Head being the only band playing. There were no opening acts. They played almost all their most famous songs from their entire catalogue. They played for 2 hours and 15 minutes, which is a long time for a heavy metal and especially a band where three of the four members are in the mid-to-late 40s. The band was tight and Robb Flynn sounded great, though sometimes, the loud music overpowered the vocals at times. But overall, an amazing experience and I will definitely see them again. Though I wasn't involved, there were a lot of moshing, circle pits and crowd surfing.

Thank you for an amazing show, MH!

by Mingy on 2012-11-09Sound Academy - Toronto

I saw them on the Metaloacalypse tour on Nov 7/12 with Dethklok and All That Remains. My first time seeing MH and I honestly couldn't be happier! They are amazing live and you can see the band really enjoyed themselves!! Robb Flynn has great stage presence and his vocals sounded awesome! Next time they're in Toronto I'll be the first one to get tickets :D

    Really Impressive

    by Stc139 on 2012-06-26Sound Academy - Toronto

Not one of my favourite bands, but I decided to go see them anyways and was really Impressed. They pulled off a really unforgettable set with dazzling light show. But the highlight was Rob Flynn's spot on instrumentation. That man is crazy!

    Suicide Silence Sucks!

    by Twist3dMetal on 2012-02-06Docks - Toronto

Suicide Silence killed my night! They were so useless and annoying! Machine Head was pretty good, very close to the album. More crowd interaction and extra's (i.e. Drum solo...) would have given this concert a 4, and a 5 should SS not been around

    Best metal show till date!!

by Rajiv on 2012-01-30Sound Academy - Toronto

Didn't care much for the first band , but then Suicide Silence was just amazing. Didn't quite expect the Toronto crowd to be that awesome. The atmosphere was electric and by the time Machine Head came on to the stage , it was just mayhem!!
