Magic Man began in 2009 when childhood friends Alex Caplow and Sam Lee started playing music together while working on a farm in France. They offered up their unofficial debut album Real Life Color on BandCamp the following year and started to gain a cult following in their native Rhode Island. After relocating to Boston and adding Justine Bowe, Nolan Robert, and Daniel Radin to their lineup, Magic Man debuted the new lineup with extensive touring throughout the US. They found widespread success with their 2013 EP You Are Here, which featured popular tracks like "Texas" and "Paris", and were praised by popular music blogs for their anthemic, dance-worthy music. They've toured with synth rock acts like MS MR, Walk the Moon, and Ra Ra Riot and have earned thousands of new fans along the way.
