    She's AMAZING!!

by MariahLover on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

After seeing Mariah again last night, it's confirmed - I love her even more. She has great stage presence and her voice was absolutely incredible, despite her feeling bad that she had a cold! I'm so glad I went! Can't wait until she comes back!!

    Mariah Carey

by Lidia on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Mariah finally came out on stage at 9:00pm :0) Anyways my seat in section 309 which was on the side of the stage was not acceptable; those seats should not have been on sale! Luckily I moved and found a couple of vacant seats closer to the side/center or the corner second row and was able to see the screen and stage perfectly from there and had a good time. Mariah was lovely as ever and turning 40 this March was friendly and entertainingly enjoyable. We got to see her tape a video for "Put Your One's Up" that really had great lighting and coreography with our very own Toronto choir. There was also a Michael Jackson tribute that I enjoyed very much.

She was good, although she was sick. The only objection i had was that we waited almost 2h before she came out but afterwards it was a really good show!

    Mariah has an amazing voice

by vto823 on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Although I was disappointed because she did not start until 930. I loved the rest of the show. She's not a performer, she doesn't do crazy dance moves but her voice makes up for it. She looked amazing.

    Not bad but got tired

by Arash on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Announced start time was 7:30 and she showed up at 9:30. Whitin this two hours just a stupid group had an opening for about 15 to 20 minutes. Hopefuly I had a company and we could chat and drink for a while. It was my first experience of Mariah Carey's concerts. She has a good voice which quality of sound systems couldn't support it. I found her more attractive on TV than live. I recommand you to enjoy your home theater and save time and money.

Mariah Carey was unfortunately disappointing ...

by MarianneFromTO on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I am sad to say that I was extremely disappointed with Mariah Carey's concert. First, the stage set-up wasn't audience friendly. I actually had to switch seats because it was such an obstructed view (not what I had paid for) I think they moved the stage even closer due to low ticket sales. It started half an hour late with the opening act only singing 3 songs which lasted about 15 minutes. Then we had to wait another hour before Mariah came on. Her first song was a little rocky and I could tell something was wrong. After the song, Mariah admitted that she was fighting a cold - unfortunately that was evident throughout the concert because she just couldn't hit those notes like she normally does. There was noticeably a lot of "filler" which included extended dance numbers without Mariah onstage, a tribute to Michael Jackson sung by her back up singer while Mariah was absent. Top it off with the fact that she only sang 3 songs from her new album (only 1 of which was popular). I give her credit for trying to perfom but even her old school tunes weren't the classics we expected her to sing nor the quality that we would expect from her. It just seemed like the song choices were very random and didn't blend in well together. Then we had to wait while they set up to film a scene for the Olympics - like we didn't wait enough. I would've preferred to hear more songs rather than wait even longer. I love Mariah but, sadly I can't say that I would pay to see her again. I wish she had just rescheduled the concert instead of leaving us with such a poor concert performance.

    spectacular

by feb9th on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

This concert was the very best one that I ever witnessed. Even though I had to wait a while before she showed up to perform. The energy level went sky highall when she took center stage and sang all the songs from her past albums to her present one. She dressed so perfectly and her voice was one of a kind. I don't think that anyone can match her singing capacity with all her notes. This is a concert to cherish and share with friends and family. Five stars.

    Needs improvement!

by crazyboy1234 on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

    1. No Cameras? What kind of concert forbids cameras and kicks people out for taking pictures. 2. The show was supposed to start at 7:30pm but Mariah came out at 9:30pm, two hours late. Although she is a diva, it was still a bit ridiculous. I like Mariah, but no one should be waiting for 2 hours for a concert to start. 3. Mariah did not dance and just occassionally changed dresses. 4. Concert was too short. She sang 11 songs and that was it. Definitely not on par with concerts like Lady Gaga and other artists. What a diva? Will not go and see her again!

    Angelic

by Arielle on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Mariah was sick but under the circumstances she was amazing. She sounds like an angel and is very sweet while interacting with the audience. She sang some of her old school anthems and did an amazing job on the Olympic songs. She looked great. Her dancers were fabulous. I just wish she had performed a little longer and that it was clear what the name of the opening act was. They were very talented too!

Great Show but she was sick....

by crissymo on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Mariah was definitely a trooper this evening. You could tell from the opening note she was feeling under the weather. She stuck it out and really give it her all...definitely some moments where she didnt quite stick the notes but she still looked and sounded fabulous!!

    Mariah is a DIVAAAA

by DivaLamb on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

This was my 4th concert seeing Mariah in Toronto - I was not impressed! I spent HOURS making my poster/sign only to get to the ACC and have them tear it apart and throw it out before I got in! Her requests were that she wanted no signs, posters, flowers, gifts etc... She set the rules! which is fine but tell people that before hand so that time time, effort and money isnt wasted. She also did not allow cameras and if you were caught you were escorted out... my Fiancee managed to take pics for me the whole night tho. She was 45 mins LATE, and a true DIVAAAA with her entourage out on stage grooming her between preformances and of course her "beverage station" since she had a cold yet she was sipping Champagne all night... Overall the worst MC show I've been too... def, not worth the money spent! Still upset about my sign!

    mariah carey concert

by linandstevelovemariah on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

My husband and I had a date last night and saw this amazing woman sing her heart out. Mariah Carey is the BEST female singer of our time. Her voice is angelic, and she is so real and amazingly beautiful. I think my hubbie was in shock over her beauty. He has always called her "his girl" and she really proved to be the cuttest! Thanks for being amazing!!!

    Mariah was sick

by whatever2 on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Due to Mariah not feeling well there was not much of a show compared to the Pink Concert, Bon Jovi, Alecia Keys. Overall I was disappointed as there was no real show. The lighting was really bad. A bright yellow light was shinning directly into our section and we couldn't see. Section 120. She was very gracious and I do like her but last night was not my favorite that's forsure!

*Wrapped Up* Packed Up* Ribbon w/ a Bow on it**

by Carlette on 2010-02-10Air Canada Centre - Toronto

MARIAH CAREY is such a dream come true. Her VOICE last night was so BEAUTIFUL, although she told the crowd that she had come down with a cold. Mariah's music is so timeless and I loved that she combined the old with the new. My favourite performances were 'ANGELS CRY', 'ALWAYS BE MY BABY', 'THE IMPOSSIBLE', 'MY ALL' and 'HONEY'. We also got to preview her new single '100 PERCENT' which may be featured on the Angels Advocate Remix album! The opening act RydaznRtist, a group signed to Nick Cannon's record label, was a little disappointing for me. I understand Mariah was trying to showcase new talent, but I think their set was too short and the fact that this group was pretty much unknown to the audience made our wait for Mariah seem even longer. But they did do their best to get us hyped up. I have to say that the worst part of the concert for me was the SECURITY at the Air Canada Centre. I understand that we were given a warning not to bring our cameras to the venue -- which I DO NOT agree with because fans pay so much money for these tickets, why can't we capture our own memories?!?. Unfortunately, I got caught with my camera and had to put it away (it wasn't worth the fight with security) and it did upset me that after I put my camera away I saw a bunch of people around me taking pictures. However, for the security to go as far as to pull people from their seats while distracting everyone else was a little too much. I think after a certain point they should've given up, instead of yelling and shining their stupid little flashlights in peoples faces. You know you're not going to catch everyone, so just give it up and let people enjoy the show. But anyways, back to MARIAH. The only negative part of her performance was that it had to END. I wish she could have sang some more, but otherwise I'm very thankful for what she gave us and I cannot wait to see her again!! ♥
