We really enjoyed the show. I was not sure I would when he did not have the usual band but it was really good. I loved that he sang all the songs and even some other artists like Waylon and George Jones. We got a kick out of the crowd yelling out at him and how funny he was. Also enjoyed that he talked more than I expected he would.

Mark Chestnutt is never a disappointment. Love his voice with or without his band. One of the great country singers that are not recognized for their talent-. Would go see him over and over again.

I was quite dissapointed with the show and the venue. I was really looking forward to this show and couldn't believe what a shmoz it was. We showed up when the doors opened at 7pm, it had said on our tickets that the show started at 8pm. Well the first performer came on at 8:30, which it did not state that he had an opening act on the tickets or on his website. Anyway, the first guy played for an hour, which he was alright, but most of time I could her the words because they were muffled. He finished at 9:30 and Mark Chesnutt didn't go on until 10pm. The sound system was terrible. It kept squekling, you couldn't see the show because there was very tall guys standing at the very front. He was also taking requests which he didn't know the words to, and he was cussing throught the show. We ended up walking out at 10:45. I would go see his again just not at a venue like that.

I listened to the Almost Goodbye album when i was about 4 years old. My father would lift me up and we would slow dance to the title track. So naturally, when I saw he was coming, we had to go and Mark Chesnutt did not let us down. As a band, you could tell that they were enjoying themselves. Which is pretty hard to come by these days. It's like they were just rocking out in their garage, just doing it for the music. Not a big fan of the set up at Oil City, but once you moved up on the dance floor, Mark was very personable. He shook everyone's hand in the front row after the show was over. If you're a fan of country, I would recommend Mark Chesnutt! Great time
