    Five Stars Ain't Easy!

by patg on 2011-09-27MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Ok, so I must admit - I'm a MALE, classic rock buff all the way - Eagles, Fogerty, Floyd, Adams, Kiss, that's MY style but something told me I had to order tickets to this show. Matt Nathanson, very much worthy of opening for these two great bands. Ok, so his pipes don't match that of Train or Maroon 5, but he's got some great tunes. It's clear why he's opening for these bands - don't miss his act! Train takes the stage next and WOW! Can Pat Monahan sing like a son of a bitch! Didn't miss a note, I'm sure of it. 'Course if he did, he was likely cruising THROUGH THE AUDIENCE, or jamming out ON STAGE with at least 30 screaming guests right from the audience! Their set included every Train song I wanted to hear as well as some classy covers and it was clear they were the 'crowd pleaser'. By the time Train left the stage, I felt that was worth the price of admission and was a happy camper. The screaming sound of thousands of girls let me know Maroon 5 had taken the stage. If Train was the 'crowd pleaser', Maroon 5 made it clear that's really why the crowd actually bought tickets. HOWEVER, don't be fooled, I personally still classify this show as a 'double headliner'. Maroon 5 left me wanting nothing more - every song, perfectly executed. I'd say some what less interaction with the audience, but where that lacked, Adam and the crew made up in showmanship. Top knotch, boys, all three acts. Five stars, believe it or not, is hard to achieve in my books.

    Maroon 5 was GREAT!

by muxwhoa on 2011-09-23Credit Union Center - Saskatoon

I was in the second row so I have to say, the concert was a great experience. Matt Nathanson was a great opening act and I found him to be real funny. Then when Maroon 5 came out, I nearly lost it. They were amazing! And of course, Train was outstanding. It's hard to put into words.

    Best Concert Of The Year

    by Andrew101 on 2011-09-22Rexall Place - Edmonton

Wow what a great concert. There wasn't even a low point in the evening. The opening act Matt Nathanson was the best opening act I have ever seen and both Maroon 5 and Train put on fantastic shows. I went too the concert for Maroon 5, and thought I only knew Hey Soul Sister by Train. Turns out that I knew over half there songs, and the ones I didn't made me become a fan. Not much else to say except possibly the best concert I have ever been too, and I go to a lot of concerts.

Maroon 5 &Train: an unforgettable show in S'toon!

by CGinRegina on 2011-09-17Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon

I bought tickets to this show mainly because I am a huge Train fan; although, I very much enjoy Maroon 5 music too. Both bands lived up to my expectations and put on fabulous shows. Each of the co-headliners have quite a different styles - but, both were excellent and they complimented each other very nicely. I totally enjoyed the entire show. Apparently, througout this tour, sometimes Train performs before Maroon 5, and other times it is the other way around. On this night, Maroon 5 performed before Train. Matt Nathanson opened the show. Train: Pat Monahan has an incredible voice and stage presence. There was lots of interaction with the crowd and Pat's banter between songs was funny and entertaining. During "Marry Me" Pat wandered throught the entire stadium touching hands with people in the far corners of the audience - a really nice touch! Maroon 5: What can I say - Adam Levine definitely has "Moves Like Jagger!" Maroon 5 was fantastic! They played lots of hits and were definitely a crowd pleaser! (Adam is so great, he might even turn me into a fan of reality TV - lol). Matt Nathanson: Before the concert I only knew two songs by Matt Nathanson; however, he put on a really great show and got the crowd in the mood for the headliners. He has a great voice and was also very funny. I am definitely going to buy at least a couple of his CD's.

    Awesome concert!

    by littlebug8 on 2011-09-17Rexall Place - Edmonton

This concert was awesome! Great opening too. I thought that Train had a better show than Maroon 5, but the quality of singing from both groups was awesome! Maroon 5's setlist was a little weird as well, but overall, it was a great concert!

Train & Maroon 5 - high energy, very entertaining

by vicliz on 2011-09-17Credit Union Centre - Saskatoon

Maroon 5 was such high energy - they really had the crowd going, and played one song after another with no wasted time. Train was great, love the lead singer's voice. Wondered why they played a U2 song and Rhianna song when they have so many great ones of their own. Overall, very good concert.

    Maroon 5 AMAZING!!!!

by Reddiva on 2011-09-15MTS Centre - Winnipeg

Train has such great stage presence. They were so entertaining and I really enjoyed watching them even though I wasn't a huge fan going into this concert...I liked them, but they were just a band whose songs I liked. Left LOVING them. Maroon 5 is my FAVOURITE band and they were worth every penny!! Entertaining, played all the great songs and Adam Levine definitely had the MOVES LIKE JAGGER!! Was one of the best concerts I've been to!
