MATCHBOX TWENTY IN CONCERT:
After a several-year hiatus from the stage, beloved alt-rockers Matchbox Twenty emerged stronger than ever in 2012 with their fourth studio album North, landing at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and embarking on The North Tour 2013 to the delight of fans around the world. The bands 2013 dates with the Goo Goo Dolls treated audiences to old favorites and newer hits like 2012 single "She's So Mean," cementing their status as a must-see band in 2014.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Matchbox Twenty rose to international fame during the ‘90s with classic alt-rock gems like “Push,” “3am,” and “Real World." Their 1996 debut album Yourself or Someone Like You was certified platinum in Canada, New Zealand and Australia and their 2000 follow-up Mad Season was certified 4x platinum in the United States. During a band hiatus in the 2000s, frontman Rob Thomas focused on his solo career, resulting in the phenomenally successful single "Smooth," a collaboration with Latin guitar legend Santana. Fans rejoiced when the band returned to the studio in 2010 to record what would ultimately become 2012’s North, their first album to land at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20, as always, was incredible. Gave it his all - high energy, passionate performance for all of the two hours, with a mix of old and new favourites. The concert was well-produced too - loved the gorgeous backdrop imagery on the stage for each song as well as the stage lighting. Rob Thomas connects so well with his audience and the energy from the fans was ELECTRIC!
We sat on last row of Sec 403 where there is the large walkway/pass through to get to sections. Chairs are placed here for disabled seating. However people choose to stand right behind the whole row for the whole concert. Which would be ok except for the noise of of people behind who think it’s ok to talk through the whole concert. Stood talking right behind us for the whole concert. It was like they were in a bar. They were a total distraction and pretty much ruined the concert. This arrangement at Budweiser is poorly planned. Then moving chairs around, taking chairs People were also taking other people’s seats. The tickets holders would show up and have to tell them no ushers in sight monitoring this area. Price for alcohol ridiculous. Will not attend Budweiser again.
I have never had so much fun, truly amazing band and Matt Nathanson really knows how to work the crowd ! It was an EPIC night !
From the beginning to the end, amazing energy ! Staff was friendly, beer was great and the show was the best of 2023!! What an incredible band !!!
Good venue, good sound. No bad seats in the house. Concert was fantastic, Matchbox20 sound the same live (or better) than they do recorded. Fun night.

Rob Thomas and Matchbox Twenty always put on a dynamite show. He doesn’t just sing the music he performs it.
Matchbox twenty never fails to put on a great show! Each band members shines throughout the night, and the blend of old and new songs carries seamlessly over the 2 hour show. Rob’s charisma is as strong as ever, he puts his all into it every night and truly seems to be having a great time in stage! Can’t wait to see them again!
Matchbox Twenty were amazing. They played for two hours straight with such a good line up of songs. They engaged the crowd so well. The crowd LOVED them. The energy was palpable. One of my favourite shows ever.

Matchbox 20 put on an incredible show, I got my mother tickets for my father her and I and she couldn’t have had more fun.
AMAZING experience!!! Surprised at how many security personnel that were on site. Anyone that stepped out of line were quickly handled. LOVE that I’d gotten an email beforehand listing the do’s & don’t’s, cashless event so cc or debit only. Purse size. That was appreciated. Really, really good time
Waited 3 years. Had meet and greet and sound check, it was great to see as I have never experienced that before, meet and greet was social distancing which I totally respect. Now the show was one of the absolute best I have seen from Matchbox Twenty, they played songs from all there albums. To me they are the best band, songwriters and performers I have ever seen.
The concert was amazing! Matchbox 20 thank you for sounding as great in real life! The only thing I would do is have someone talk between songs a little more 😊 other than that… fantastic! And thank you all including Matt for being so real and saying how you actually feel about the world! 💕

The venue was the perfect setting. Food was amazing. The Wallflowers were the perfect opening act for Matchbox 20. We waited 3 years to see Matchbox 20 and they did not disappoint. They were fantastic. Would go to another concert at the venue.
