Matt Rife has exploded as one of the fastest growing comedians through his viral content and remarkable engagement on TikTok, where he has amassed over 13 million followers, and more than 2 billion views globally. As one of the most buzzed about comedians in the business, Rife has been selling-out comedy clubs and theaters across the country and is gearing up to embark on his biggest tour to-date with Live Nation, theMatt Rife: ProbleMATTic World Tour, kicking off on July 20th.
Rife brings forth his refreshingly genuine presence along with elevated material that is quick witted and vulnerable. From a small town near Columbus Ohio, Matt started performing at the age of fifteen then moved out to Los Angeles two years later where he began his career in Hollywood.
In addition to stand-up, he made his television debut on MTV'sWild 'N Outas the youngest cast member in history for four seasons before moving on to other MTV properties, such as hosting the reboot ofTRLand appearing onThe Challenge. Other credits includeBrooklyn Nine-Nine,Fresh Off The Boat, BET'sNorth Of The 10, and NBC's comedy competition showBring The Funny.
In 2021, Rife self-produced and distributed through YouTube his first one-hour comedy special, "Only Fans". This past April, the comedian bet on himself again and self-released his highly anticipated second stand-up special, "Matthew Steven Rife" on YouTube. The special was taped in Austin, TX and is dedicated to his biggest role model, his grandfather Steven who had recently passed. He'll be taping his third stand-up special this fall in Washington, DC.
AMAZING. Looking forward to his next world tour already!
Matt was funny as usual. When he came out in the Canucks jersey, almost lost my sh*t! I’m a huge Canucks fan. He was awesome with the crowd. It was a great night!
I wasn’t sure what to expect with Matt Rife as his special on Netflix wasn’t the best but it was an amazing live show, the Queen Elizabeth theatre was a great venue to host this, definitely recommend seeing him.
Awesome show, got to share the experience with some lovely friends and overall a fantastic evening with a great line up of entertainers
Good experience, funny comedians, show on time. Good show
Saw his show tonight in Edmonton at The Jubilee. 2 opening acts were ok. Matt was hilarious. Just wish we could have got better seats because he’s also good to look at. Lol. Love how he interacts with the audience. It makes his show very unique. Would definitely see him again. Good for him for making it big so young!

The comedy show was really funny. I love how he interacts with the audience which makes every show a little bit different, I definitely recommend going to see him if you get the chance
Event was at Burton Cummings theatre. Sound needed tuning in. All four of us could not understand some of what all three comedians said. Show was fantastic.
Honestly was expecting matt to be a lot funnier. Been following along since almost the beginning and his comedy has kinda just gone downhill. The openers were definitely funnier.
I have come to absolutely adore the Burton Cummings Theatre and Matt Rife was hilarious. I am so glad I had the opportunity to go.
It ran smooth the staff was friendly and great. The act was phenomenal definitely highly recommend Matt Rife and his comedics
My first time at the Burton Commings theatre. The theatre is gorgeous, good seating and the architecture is wow!! Matt Rife’ two opening acts were entertaining. Matt Rife did an awesome job incorporating Winnipeg into the act and was funny as hell!! So happy I purchased tickets for this show!!
He was not what it was hyped to be. 2 openings acts i never heard of as well, and were not very funny. Matt had some good lines but overall i didn't find myself to be laughing a lot or evening enjoying his content. tickets were also immensely over priced !!!
I have never been to the Burton Cummings theatre in Winnipeg. While it is small and get crowded, it was a really neat venue. Matt Rife was awesome, and same with the openers! I was laughing the whole time. Thanks for a great night!
Probably one of the best comedian shows I’ve ever went to, I had a great time with my friends. Matt even more funnier in person than what you see on TikTok.
Loved every minute of it! Wished it had been longer as I enjoyed it a lot!
Amazing show!! I would see this comedian again no questions asked. Best comedian for my generation!’ Love you Matt rife! 😂
Great show by all. He’s hilarious and I would definitely go again.
Not sure why there’s any negative reference to Matt’s crowd work. Talk about an interactive experience. Matt Rife’s shows are kind of like listening to an album released by your favourite band. There’s gonna be one or two tracks on that album that you just don’t rock with, but the rest of the album, is a total fkn go! I mean, how quick witted must one be to come up with the dialogue that he does, all with humour in mind? Well, you have to be sharp as a whip in order to do that! Never a dull moment. Spontaneity and sarcasm are Matts forté and he is killin it. Thanks for unleashing your no holds barred adult humor to a SUPER soft society, although I am sure you hold some of what you really wanna say back! Ha! Anyway, the world needed a shake up! Thanks for doing it!! See ya in Niagara in July.
