    Mean Girls is a Must-See!

by BroadwayCanadian on 2018-09-21August Wilson Theatre - New York

This show is incredible! So funny and so entertaining. Filled with plenty of your favourite lines from the movie, plus some updated punch lines to keep it current. Tina Fey hits it out of the park on her first try on Broadway. And the performers were soooooo talented. Taylor Louderman is a queen with her belting chops, but so is Barrett Wilbert Weed, Kate Rockwell, Grey Henson and the entire cast! I'm obsessed!

    Funny & Relevant

by Blondzai on 2018-09-11August Wilson Theatre - New York

I loved this show! I thought that it was funny and well-acted. The singing was terrific and the performances were fun. 75% of the people in the audience were women, but don't let the name fool you. This show would resonate with all demographics. I took my teenage daughter who was thrilled to buy a "Burn Book" pillow. I enjoy live theatre and have season's tickets to Broadway Across Canada and Theatre Calgary. I would absolutely put this in my top ten favourite live theatre performances.

    Awesome show

I was blown away. Mean girls is one of my favorite movies so I needed to see this show and I would say it was fantastic. It was funny, exciting and well performed. All performers were excellent. There were many changes to the original script but I think it worked well to the story line.

Only so, so. There are much better musicals.

by WarrenWarren on 2018-06-13August Wilson Theatre - New York

Only so so. There are many more better musicals to see on Broadway. Not a waste of time, if you have time on your hands, but a waste of time if time is precious to you.

    Mean Girls

by allinthehands on 2018-06-11August Wilson Theatre - New York

Awesome and so worth it. Would totally see it again if I could. Show had great cast, great production, music was awesome and not your typical “musical” jazz hands stuff. It was funny and enlightening. References were upgraded to 2018 and just all around great show.

    Dag

by TheatreNerd on 2018-06-02August Wilson Theatre - New York

It doesn't work. The hype, the audience's energy, the fact that Tina Fey is writing and New York loves Ms. Fey seems to propel this show's popularity and the critics reviews. But it doesn't work. The creative team have not transitioned to the theatre, its two- dimensional and the characters just stand in a line and shout at the audience (there is no really impressive singing and many big voices). It just doesn't work. It bombard you with energy and there is no pay-off. Very disappointing evening in the theatre.

    Good, but not amazing

by PatcheZ on 2018-04-23August Wilson Theatre - New York

The charm of Lindsay Lohan and the movie are lost, but is made up with added fun and humour in the show. Like many Broadway shows, the show is targeted at a more mature audience.
