MJ the Musical is the four-time Tony Award-winning showcase of Michael Jackson’s unparalleled artistry. The dazzling jukebox musical centers around the construction of 1992’s Dangerous World Tour, recreated by the Tony Award-winning choreography of Christopher Wheeldon. In total, 25 of Michael Jackson's most electrifying hits are woven into a book by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage. The musical took Broadway by storm when it premiered in February 2022, with The Washington Post calling it “a riveting, adrenaline rush of a show.” MJ has been nominated for 10 Tony Awards and one Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album. One of the hottest tickets on Broadway, MJ has grossed over $142 million and been seen by more than 975,000 theatergoers.

Getting there

The Neil Simon Theatre is located on 250 West 52nd Street between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue. There is no designated on-site parking. However, there are numerous parking options in the Broadway Theater District. Here's a link to a Google map display of the various options in the Times Square area.

Taxis can stop outside the theatre for drop off and pick up.

The Neil Simon Theatre is close to the 50th Street subway stop. You can take the C, E and 1 lines to reach the stop.

    UNLIKE ANYTHING YOU EVER EXPERIENCED!

    I was so moved by this show! This is a Broadway show like nothing ever seen or experienced. This cast and crew have obviously worked so hard to bring this to life. Their blood, sweat and tears, their heart and soul is left on the floor when the show ends… and believe me you want more. Nothing can prepare you for the Magic you will experience watching MJ The Musical! Children, Teens, Young Adults, Older Adults - will love this! Doesn’t matter if you are a MICHAEL JACKSON fan or not, this is a spectacular Broadway production that you cannot miss! Re: Neil Simon Theatre The staff was INCREDIBLE! Health and safety checks throughout. We used the NYC Covid app to have our ID/Vaccine information on to show the inspectors (easy for international/out of state persons to download and use). Accessibility was not an issue, so do NOT be discouraged if you have issues with access; my mum broke her knee and we were quickly ushered to our seats so she didn’t have to wait in the line. The Neil Simon Theatre staff all around were Kind & Compassionate which also increased the overall experience!
