    Great Line-Up.....Amphitheatre Needs UpGrade

by countrybarber on 2014-08-31Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

The 2014 Country Line Up was Great. Fantastic Bands. The Sound system is not clear. The Mixing always has the Band over powering the singer. The last concert we left early because we could not hear the Singer. It was just loud noise. The band which I'm sure normal sounds great sounded mashed together and the steel guitar was completely unrecognizable. There has been a pattern at this venue over the summer where the two warm up bands before the main event have been off.. in the sense that the vocals were drowned out by heavy bass and band noise. this is unusual for country music.

    Awesome deal

by TOskynyrdfan on 2012-10-28Molson Amphitheatre - Toronto

What an excellent way to spend your summer. Seeing a concert at the Amphitheatre is great. Knowing you have a ticket to see many concerts is a good way to plan activities and get out and enjoy yourself. Top shelf performers at an fantastic price. Up grades are good too.

    Motley Crue stole the show

by Mat1818 on 2011-09-17Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

This was one of the best promos I have purchased to date. Motley Crue put on one of the greatest performance I have ever seen. The only complicatin was that they didnt have the tickets ready for me and the majority of other paying customers when we approached the wicket. Therefore we were forced to stand in the general admission line for over an hour. This meant we missed alot of one show (poison). If not for the complication this would have been a five! I will definetly buy these tickets again!

    Mega fun

by MarkMacDonald on 2011-09-15Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

The Mega Pass was a great value but it started as a mega pain in the ass. The line up to obtain the passes prior to the Supertramp concert was disorganized and slow. Many people including myself were left standing outside the venue waiting in line when the concert began. I had been waiting 45-60 minutes at that point. Once over that hump, with passes in hand the following concerts were no problem and even offered seating for some of the shows. Here are my reviews. Supertramp - covered all the hits, great sing along, but Rick Davies piano playing is not what is used to be. Better to see Roger Hodgson next time. Peter Frampton- Could not make this one but my brother really enjoyed it. I ended up seeing Peter in the USA and concur he was great. Motley Crue-I was out of town, my daughter says the show was good. Jimmy Buffet- After sweating it out at the afternoon Blue Jays game decided to pass on this one. My friends tell me it was great but hot. Journey/Foreigner-Mick Jones may be the only original member of Foreigner but he has put together a great band and knows how to stick to the hits. Journey were good too, a sing along night of hits. Heart-Always great! My wife preferred the Massey Hall show we saw earlier this year. Steely Dan-Incredible sound, incredible band! Great show! Blue Rodeo- An annual event at Ontario, Place. Great show! Bachman Turner/Paul Rodgers- Paul Rodgers was my wife's favourite show this summer. How a 62 year old guy can still sing like he is 20 is beyond me. Great show! The summer was a definite flashback to my high school years. Positive- great value, great acts, upgrade to seats on smaller shows Negative-Line up for passes at the first show, cigarette smoke in the lawn and 400 section, loud obnoxious drunks at a few shows (venue could use a lesson in smart serve)

    All shows were exceptional

by Margrock on 2011-09-13Molson Canadian Amphitheatre - Toronto

I think that the Megapass for the summer season of 2011 was an excellent investment. We took advantage of all 9 shows and was quite impressed with each artist. I must say, that although we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the restrictions were not very clear. We saw some shows that allowed lawn chairs and other did not. Some shows took the cap off of your water and or pop, while others didn't. I would like to be able to drink what I purchae and not worry about it spilling down the hill. The other think I would like to address is the lack of lids for the beer. This poses a problem when the ampitheatre is full and you are walking up a hill. You tend to spill more than you drink and at the cost of the beverage, it can be discouraging.
