DISCLAIMER: I was visiting Montreal from out of province. 1. Traffic in Montreal is ridiculous and finding parking was a nightmare. I had to park 30 minutes away on foot. 2. The Will Call window was the slowest I've ever seen. It took 30 minutes to get through the line to get my tickets and I missed most of the 1st quarter...including Calvillo breaking the TD Pass record. 3. The seating arrangements in section A (end zone) is so tight that I had to straddle the person sitting in front of me. 4. The building has great character with the university buildings right close to the endzone. It really is a cool building. 5. I would never take my children to a game in Montreal because of all the foul language being yelled at the opposing players. In Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, and Winnipeg (all the buildings I've seen games in), the teams run them as family events and if you get caught swearing the way they were in Montreal, you get kicked out of the building. 6. Otherwise, the crowd is high energy, the building is very cool, and it is something I am glad I did, but I won't be going again.
As was far as the game and team goes it was unbelievable, amazing. I would have liked to have an album or game day book etc. The retail sales points were always too full and I spent exactly 0$ because of that.
awesome home opening. alouettes are the best what a great game!
I loved the game, a good start, the atmosphere was very good. Good seat but a little expensive for the seats. I'd bin have season tickets because it is very interesting and not too much game in a season ...
We were in the end zone and I thought that the area was fine but they really pack you in and my husbands knees were digging into the people in front of us, the kids dropped the gloves under the bleacher. I t would have been nice to know that the venue was outdoors, I did the research so were were prepared for the cold weather. The power went out during half time and it was only the second string players since the outcome made no difference to the standingsI have never been in the other seats so I do not know how they would compare, but we were close to the action and lots of opportunity to see the mascots and the cheerleaders up close and also to get on the big screen cheering.
By far the best sporting venue in North America ,fantastic amatsphere ,no a bad seat inthe sdtadiem ,it s an event not to miss.
We attended the Alouettes and Bombers game on Sunday in Montreal and had a great time. The stadium is located in a beautiful location with great views of the city. We have been wanting to attend a game for awhile and ended up buying tickets in the last row of the new upper deck which had us a bit leery until we got there. The seats were great, we had a great view of the game and the city and the people were friendly and welcoming. Washrooms and concessions were good as well, getting into and out of the stadium also went well. Lots of busses and the police had blocked off many streets to allow pedestrians to walk towards downtown. A great experience, highly recommend it to all.
The game was great. The temperature was on our side. The seats were good.
Perfect day, great game...record breaking play on top of it all!
it was a great game, the alouettes won the game and ben cahoon reach a new record
Excellent game, excellent weather and excellent seats.
I love football! What an amazing revenge game we had. Offensive and defensive the team was just at the right place and the right time. It was also a beautiful day to be outside under the sun. The stadium was full 25,012 people cheering for the best football team. Sorry if I am making mistake in writing my mother tongue is French.
A perfect day in Montreal. Sunny blue sky, great seats, fantastic atmosphere and a solid home team. Great street closures after game so crowd could walk out safely and quickly to their next stop (supper, metro, club or home). Definitely recommend going to a game.
Good tickets good game but the montreal alouettes need calvillo back ASAP
We had great seats, exciting atmosphere!! Loved it!!
The changes they have made to Percial Molson Stadium in the past year are excellent. It was a beautiful evening and we met some excellent people there. Everyone should attend a game at PMS at least once.
This was a great evening, entertaining, fun and it dd bot rain... Very good!
Game was great - especially first half - 2nd half became a nail biter as offensive was non-existant and defense won the day. Expanded stadium great BUT they must find a solution for the congestion under the stands on the Penfield side. First they didn't let people enter the stadium for about 10 minutes before 7PM and then the crowds coming in from the east side trying to go west and the people coming in near the gym trying to go east created a stand still traffic jam - we missed the first touch down and the field goal as we were stuck under the stands - even with arriving almost 15 minutes before kick off.
The outcome was not acceptable, but the game was entertaining. 30-26 for Montreal. There was one play that made the difference. We (Sask.) attempted a field goal, we missed and Montreal ran the ball from end zone to end zone for 6 points. When the score was 28 to 26 for Montreal my Montreal fan neighbor expressed his concern that it was now too close of a football game for him. A few Montreal red neck fans but mostly all good. I was keeping a low profile, but I was dressed in Sask. colors.
