About

Motionless in White are a gothic and horror-themed metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After forming in 2005, the group began to break out with the release of their third album, Reincarnate (2014), which charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 and featured artists such as Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth and Tim Skold of Marilyn Manson and KMFDM. Lead vocalist Chris Motionless has noted drawing inspiration from bands like Slipknot, Cradle of Filth and AFI, who helped inspire the sonic soundscape of albums like Graveyard Shift (2017) and Disguise (2019), the latter of which produced the band’s first single to go gold, “Another Life.” Motionless in White have released two EPs and six studio albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Scoring the End of the World — embarking on sold-out tours with everyone from Korn to Slipknot.

The concert was incredible! All bands gave their 100%. The venue was okay, but getting there was a nightmare. The street is under construction so it was all muddy and there was no public transport whatsoever.

  • HIGH ENERGY, FULL THROTTLE, TIGHT SOUND

Well what can you say about MIW. These guys bring the heat. Whether their played older classics to new material, its a show like no other. The most impressive thing about this band is how good they sound live. Ive seen 3 shows with my daughter, and every set has been completely unique. Changing the setlist is one of the things I appreciate most about thos band. Chris is an amazing singer, and very thankful to be doing what hes doing as a career. He'll let you know after each song by saying thank you, and I respect the hell outta that. Having had a chanve to backstage at 2 of the 3 shows, Q&A and photo ops. I received the same treatment for both experiences. Actually, my first show ever I was at the VIP Q&A and requested to Chris if thry could play Death March. A song thats very close to me, and the band did that night. Vids on you tube, lol MIW London,On CANADA. I guess when you attend a show, you want to experience something youve never seen before, and growing up listening to bands like Motley and Maiden, I found a connection in their music. Chris' passion to write lyrics that relate to personal experiences is what attracted me to the music and having the opportunity to be a part of the show, not to mention talk with the band helped solidify the respect I feel for them as musicians first and foremost. The live shows are theatrical, always great lightning and theme based setup. If your a fan of Metal Core. Then these guys are a must to see for anyone that appreciated great lyrics, great stage presence, and an amazing tight sound. Cheers All, Phil Mead Binbrook,On 🇨🇦
