As is the norm with concerts in this venue, the stadium sound quality was sub standard to the point where I will probably drive to Seattle to see acts in the future.
This is not a new problem, the convex speaker stacks are set either side and in front of the stage, limiting sight lines for a lot of fans. The mid and higher end frequencies and instrument balances get lost, and If you are an audiophile, any seats near the nosebleeds lose all high end so all you hear is bass and drums. A bit more use of satellite speakers with synch delays would eliminate the issues but the frustrating thing is it has never ever been addressed, show after show.
Considering the many artists and shows that put on events in this venue, I am very disappointed. I have seen a lot of shows in many different stadiums and this is an issue that the venue should address as it is the worst sound without a doubt.
Aside from that, the security access was fast, much improved from past events as was the drink selection, but drinks were still too expensive.
