Overall excellent show. My daughter loved it. Wish they would have left out the political comment from the left, but otherwise a great show.
I was excepting much from the show, however it turn out to be amazing show. Science at its best.
Mythbusters live show was even better than anticipated. I was very excited to see Adam and Jamie in person and they certainly did not disappoint. The show is very kid friendly, with a good bit of audience participation. It was money well spent. We went to both the matinee and the evening show, and they were both really good, well worth the money.
Love the TV show, but I feel that this live show falls short if you are not: a kid, or one of the onstage participants. Lots of cool experiments but only few "WOW" moments. Doesn't continue with the science theme (or at least dumbs it down). Feels like a show of cool ideas strung together. Adam and Jamie's personality make the show fun, but from where we sat, you can't even see there facial expressions. And no live monitors to aid us..
Loved it!! I cant wait until they come back I want to see this show again.
These guys are great live, very dynamic!!! It is great to see people sharing what they love with people, makes you like them even more.
Fun, engaging and entertaining...................................................................
Not what we expected. Very little of what you see on the show. Lots of down time and fillers. My son (9) enjoyed it but even he turned to me and said (at the end) "That's it, it's over". Disappointed.
My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed this although I wish we had of known before we bought the tickets that there was going to be a matinee. My kids are 5 and 7 so a matinee would have been much better.
It really was EPIC/AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Adam & Jamie talked about themselves & behind the scenes occurances of the show as well as performing 'Myrhbuster' exercises on stage with audience involvement!
The hall was packed including all the balcony seats and the added a second show so obviously these guys are super popular. There were obviously tons of devoted fans who were thrilled to see them live, participate on stage and ask them questions one-on-one, but for the casual fan, the show was not that exciting. What totally made up for the average performance was the (what appeared) to be genuine sincere enthusiasm and passion for what they do. Great personalities and they truly have turned kids (and adults) into lovers of science-and that is commendable indeed!!
This show was a complete waste of time and money. No 'myths' were challenged, the show consisted of a question and answer segment in which audience members (mostly kids) asked questions like "what was the most awesomest thing you blew up?". This lasted approx 30 mins, 20 minute intermission and 30 minutes of nonesense. They did 3 "performances" - which were all common knowledge for someone who was in at least highschool. This is a kids science show at best. I am a big fan of the telelvision show but this live performance did not live up to the expectation. Don;t waste your money.
From the opening video montage to the ending demonstrations, teh mythbusters did not dissapoint. it would have been nice to have had some input from Tori and the other second bannanas even via video. I'd definately see them again got to go on stage too so that made my night. "C" of when in doubt c 4!
I was delighted to get tickets to this event because we are great fans of the show. Not knowing what to expect for a stage show, I was impressed with what went on throughout the course of the night. I really thought the guys were very funny when they were narrating some of the video clips that they brought of past shows. The show itself was a mixture of science demonstrations, video clips of some of there more famous or infamous trial and error experiments with a lot of audience participation to which was equally hilarious. The question and answer period was fun also. A fun night for all ages.
Mythbusters, my one of my favorite TV shows for years now. It was fun to have seen these guys live. They are intelligent entertaining guys. Thanks.
As my boys say the show was "Totally Awesome". Just like the TV show, lots of fun and some education too.
Not worth $75 but an entertaining afternoon anyway. It was interactive and relaxed. They got people up on stage helping with simple Myth Buster type fun. When they first walked out on stage I had more that feeling of "wow, it's really them" than I've had in a long time.
The show was definitely geared towards the younger fans. There was some horse play, some funny gags, an a couple of question and answer periods. They did take people from the audience to do a couple things, and it was great to see Jamie and Adam , but it was not what I was hoping for. For a $75 ticket, I was expecting a bit more than just a fan tour. Jamie and Adam weren't even available to talk to audience members after the show. THAT was disappointing.
We did enjoy the 'Behind the Myths' Show but it's obvious the guys are quite limited in what they can do on stage with a live audience. Likes: Jaime and Adam both very engaging and really enjoyed their Q&A sessions (although my daughter found those bits 'boring'). Good humour and a fun mix of demonstrations. EVERY demo had audience participation which was great. Dislikes: The onstage demos were fairly lame compared to what they do on the Mythbusters show (obviously). However, they did try to mix things up and provide as much fun as possible. Bottom Line: If you are a fan of the show, you will really enjoy the live interaction with Adam and Jaime and it's a fun couple of hours for the whole family.
