Travis Knights and his band brought a spectacular show filled with laughs, tears, and most of all rhythm. Incredibly funky and will excellent tap, I was dancing in my seat the entire time. Would always recommend doing whatever you can to see Travis Knights live!
Exactly as was billed. EXCELLENT show overall. Fabulous. Wonderful. Would definitely recommend for anyone to see...all those who enjoy true talent. From Travis to Jenna, to the piano player, the bass player and the drums. Absolutely loved the show.
Dazzling evening of tap dancing and jazz. Travis footwork is breathtaking!
This tap dancer will not fail to completely impress you with his moves. He’s a master and clearly loves what he does. The show included a fabulous jazz singer, a superb jazz pianist and two others in his band. He had a unique way of blending in his dancing with the music and story telling. He also loves history and has a social conscience. It was a lot more than just tap dancing. THEN, he invited those tap dancers in the audience to join him on stage and about 25 people came up and they were all pros who knew the steps to the same piece! They all danced together. Amazing. Loved it.
We have been in the Babs Asper Theatre before so we were looking forward to the Jill Barber concert there. Although she did not sing our favourite French songs, she is a wonderful singer/songwriter/storyteller. As part of a trio, it was a more intimate evening than if a full band had accompanied her and the storytelling effect might have been missed. So we enjoyed our evening and are looking forward to going back again!
Awesome room! Acoustics/sound was incredible, comfortable cozy seating giving a lounge vibe and of course an easily accessible bar. Perfect room for softer, acoustic acts. Abigail Lapell was outstanding.
Really well done - excellent musicians performing a true classic. Not to be missed!

Great band and performance. Would attend more of their performances. Good facility. Four stars given instead of five due to some sound/speaker issues and would like more lounge seating for pre-show waiting.
