Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour in 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and has opened for comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

We had such an entertaining night! loved the mix of comedians! laughed myself to tears. long time fan of Nate and happy to see him in person! highly recommend this show!
We arrived at the Plaza doors at 6:30 pm and didn’t get in until 7:10 pm as there were only a few doors open to let people in. It was the same after the show - took forever to get out. Did Rogers not hire enough staff?? It was ridiculous.
What a great show ! The lineup of openers was excellent The set up of the center stage on floor was unexpected and loved the set up. Great show .
What a fantastic night! Nate and the comedy team were hilarious. So refreshing to enjoy a clean comedy show. Keeping it clean didn’t take away from the laughs to the point of tears. What would I add … a female to the team!! Can’t wait for him to come back to town. 🇨🇦
Had us laughing from start to finish!!! Highly recommend seeing Nate.
Fabulous Show!! Enjoyable evening!! Laughed all night!! The opening comics - Lachlan Patterson, Nick Thune, and Joe Zimmerman - were super funny as well!
Great show, great set. Loved Nate and the other comics! Only downside: The poor organization of exiting meant it took us over 15 min to exit rogers arena; it should be coordinated and better structured so that people aren’t being herded like cattle. (But this is something the event organizers/Rogers management needs to solve, nothing on Nate and co!)
We had a great time and the venue was perfect for this show. The 360 stage and set up of the monitor displays when the comics were not directly facing us worked great. I'd definitely go again and bring all of my friends!
I loved this whole show! I couldn’t find info about the openers so I could listen to their other work online. I should have taken a pic 😆. Nate’s segment was the best. I was a little worried that he would have too many jokes about the USA and I wouldn’t have got the references but it was about life and relationships. Was just a great show!
Nate is an ABSOLUTE brilliant comedian! I will absolutely come see him again! Come back Nate-Nathaniel what ever your name is!! lol
Nate’s new material continues to be driven by personal anecdotes and experiences with a heaping dose of self doubt and humbleness. He’s the butt of most of his jokes. He doesn’t punch down, shock or offend to gets cheap laughs and clicks. He’s just a terrific storyteller who sees the absurd in everyday things. He deserves all his success for his dedication to his craft but I truly believe the that timing is everything and the world is clamouring for his “brand” of humour…authentic, kind (mostly), self-effacing and disconnected from the “real world”. Go. See. Be Funny Tour!
Nate and his band of hilarious friends did NOT disappoint on Sunday night. Each comedian was funnier than the last and the MC was superb. Lots of local references and so family friendly. It was such a breath of fresh air to sit through an entire comedy show and not a SINGLE off colour joke and NO foul language. This was an excellent show!
Wow, a comedian who didn’t need to use curse words to get a laugh. What a talented man, thoroughly enjoyed the show!
This was hands down the best comedy show we have been to! Nate was absolutely hilarious and it was non stop big laughs. 1000/10 recommend and really look forward to seeing him again! We were so impressed. The openers were really great as well and lots of big laughs from them. As they were walking out we had a chance to chat with them which was really cool as well.
Superb!! From the host to the other 3 handpicked comedians by Nate. Nate never disappoints. Laughed sooo much!!!
Couldn’t have been a better show. All the comedians were so good. Loved every minute
Go see him!!! He was awesome to see and hilarious and frirnds were great that opened as well
I would have to agree with the previous reviews. From the host, the opening comedians to Nate himself, they all made me laugh. Having the screens certainly helped for this larger venue. It's a nice change to watch "clean"comedians. Highly recommended when he and his entourage come to your town.
A total laugh a minute. His choice of opening acts were spot on. Nate's writing is so smart and witty and he puts on such a well crafted, heartfelt performance. By letting us into his personal world and shining a light on the hilarity of it all, he's able to remind us that we're all basically the same - even if you're some big successful comedian.
I always enjoy Nate’s shows but being able to see him live was icing on the cake. The seats were sooo uncomfortable though😩
