Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and in support of comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Bargatze hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the second time in fall 2024 and also co-produced a holiday variety special titled “Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas” with Lorne Michaels. In May 2025, Bargatze published his highly-anticipated first book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, which became an instant New York Times bestseller. Coming up for 2026, Bargatze will host his new comedy game show, The Greatest Average American, which premieres on February 25 on ABC and Hulu, and will star in the family-friendly comedy film, The Breadwinner, which is scheduled to be released on March 13.

A total laugh a minute. His choice of opening acts were spot on. Nate's writing is so smart and witty and he puts on such a well crafted, heartfelt performance. By letting us into his personal world and shining a light on the hilarity of it all, he's able to remind us that we're all basically the same - even if you're some big successful comedian.
I always enjoy Nate’s shows but being able to see him live was icing on the cake. The seats were sooo uncomfortable though😩
Nate’s host in Toronto was funny. Mixed reviews about the openers. Most were funny with the exception of Gary Vider. I found that his humour was a bit crude so it doesn’t really fit the crowd that would typically enjoy Nate. Mike James and Jonnie were both funny! Nate was great live. It seemed he was much looser live than he has been during his Netflix specials, he giggled at his own jokes which was great to see. The content was PG without diving deep into politics which is so rare to find in a standup. Only downside is that he did recycle a few jokes from his specials, luckily not as in-depth.
Great show right from the start. From the host to the openers to Nate's set, the laughs didn't let up.
Video screens helped all the poor people in the 300 level see and enjoy the show. Also, Nate was funny.
We enjoyed the openers and the MC. But laughed the most through Nate. His entire set was hilarious and had only heard one joke previously. Everyone should go.
First off the show started within a few minutes of scheduled start time !! Nate Brough 4 warm up comedians who were quite good. Different styles of delivering comedy was appreciated. Nate took over afterwards and did not disappoint. I have seen all of his specials on Netflix, etc and his material tonight was new and delivered in typical Nate fashion. I never stopped laughing for the whole hour he performed. If you have not seen him on tv or live you gotta check it out. I will be going next time he comes to Toronto or perhaps Buffalo !! Well done.

My husband really likes Nate Bargatze. I bought him tickets for Christmas. Nate did not disappoint. All four comedians were really great. The four are an excellent example of good, clean fun. Vulgarity is never necessary. Nate’s material was something almost everyone could relate to. I would definitely recommend this tour. Look forward to seeing him again.
