Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and in support of comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Bargatze hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the second time in fall 2024 and also co-produced a holiday variety special titled “Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas” with Lorne Michaels. In May 2025, Bargatze published his highly-anticipated first book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, which became an instant New York Times bestseller. Coming up for 2026, Bargatze will host his new comedy game show, The Greatest Average American, which premieres on February 25 on ABC and Hulu, and will star in the family-friendly comedy film, The Breadwinner, which is scheduled to be released on March 13.

Start to finish laughs, but once Nate took the stage it was next level. Laughing Tears and now my face and stomach hurt from laughing.
I laughed for the entirety of his set- Nate is absolutely hilarious. I also really enjoyed his openers. Highly recommend!
Nate's show absolutely lived up to the expectations. His comedy had us laughing from start to finish. The openers were also great and definitely added to the enjoyment of the show. Highly recommend!
Laughed pretty much start to finish… Nate’s delivery is just the best. Has an ability to tell close to two hours worth of jokes without any need for vulgarity and can make fun of himself at the same time. And didn’t repeat jokes we had seen before which was surprising.
I bought tickets as a Christmas gift for the whole family - my adult siblings and parents - and we had a fantastic time! Nate has a fantastic way of seeing the world and sharing it with all of us. And the theater was beautiful!
The ticket prices were reasonable. Staff was polite and quick. Meridian Hall is a nice and cozy atmosphere. Nate was absolutely hilarious as always
Great night of laughs with multiple styles and Nate killed it.
The show was just what the doctor ordered!! The opening acts were great and Nate was fantastic! I belly laughed the whole time would definitely see him again!
Nate did not disappoint. I was laughing so hard I was crying. Hopefully he comes back to Toronto soon. Hilarious show!
Great show. All the opening acts were very funny. Nate Bergatze did not disappoint. So funny I was crying. The theatre could use a screen for those of us at the top balcony.
It was just WOW! Entertaining from beginning to end. The pre show comedians were amazing. Super funny. Nate was fantastic. And having never been before, he could make us laugh constantly without swearing and cussing. Good clean fun. We loved it. Was a 60th birthday gift for my husband and he loved it.
Nate was super funny didn’t disappoint would go again in a heartbeat
Nate was hilarious and his special guests set the stage wonderfully for him. A great event.
Excellent comedian. Opening acts were just as funny. Great choices. Venue is fantastic. Overall wonderful night.
From the moment Nate stepped on stage he had my husband and I locked in. We laughed so hard and had such a fun night! We would definitely see him again!
I did not stop laughing for 90 minutes. In fact, I find myself giggling again just thinking about this show.
Hilarious as always! Loved the openers too. Thanks Nate for an amazing night.
This was a great show. All 3 comics were very funny and clever. But, considering the high ticket prices and the sold out show surely there’s enough money in this to have a large screen to help out those in the further reaches of the auditorium to pick up on the facial nuances of the performers? This really does make a difference. I’ve seen plenty of shows with far lower ticket prices that do this.
Was really funny start to finish. Came with great openers. Would definitely recommend
Nate is hilarious, his delivery is so good. His comedy is so relatable. His 2 openers were also excellent. I only wish the show was longer because it was so good it felt too brief.
