Comedian Nate Bargatze’s clean-cut and relatable humor is why The Atlantic called him “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up.” The Nashville, Tennessee native and host of the Nateland podcast found his voice in the mid-2000s with regular appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Bargatze was featured on Jimmy Fallon's Clean Cut Comedy Tour 2013, three years after he was named “New York's Funniest Stand-Up” at the New York Comedy Festival. Since then, Bargatze has been selling out arenas on solo tours and in support of comedy icons like Chris Rock. Bargatze’s signature deadpan delivery was showcased in his 2021 Netflix special, The Greatest Average American, which earned a Grammy Award nomination for the coinciding comedy album. His 2023 Amazon Prime special Nate Bargatze: Hello World became the most-streamed original comedy special debut in Prime history — with 2.9 million viewers in its first 28 days — culminating in Bargatze breaking the attendance record for Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Bargatze hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the second time in fall 2024 and also co-produced a holiday variety special titled “Nate Bargatze’s Nashville Christmas” with Lorne Michaels. In May 2025, Bargatze published his highly-anticipated first book, Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From A Simpler Mind, which became an instant New York Times bestseller. Coming up for 2026, Bargatze will host his new comedy game show, The Greatest Average American, which premieres on February 25 on ABC and Hulu, and will star in the family-friendly comedy film, The Breadwinner, which is scheduled to be released on March 13.

Love this guys humour, delivery and overall style. He’s so funny, we laughed our asses off. We had such a great time.
Excellent show. All new material. His openers were both pretty strong. Did an hour exactly; I would have been ok with a bit more material, but funny jokes don't grow on trees. It was billed as a clean/all ages show; although I didn't seek that out (I'm fine with some salty language) he really does keep it clean, but that doesn't take away from his performance. I would have him as a top 5 comedian right now, and this show didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend.
Laugh until your cheeks and gut hurts comedy. I’ll never step foot on a golf course or look at my front door again without laughing. Thank you for the best evening we’ve had in a long time.
Great comedian if you're into "clean" humor. Great comedian if you're not. Well-rounded material for everyone! Had a fabulous evening!
Loved watching Nate Bargatze in Calgary. His two opening comedians were also delightful--I especially love Graham's bit--hilarious! Nate's comedy was able to be funny and span the 50 year gap between the members of our group that came to see him. It was delightful. Nate is a comedian easy to love.
Nate was amazing. All new material. Both he and the two openers never missed a beat, super tight routines. Jubilee Auditorium needs to get food and drink service done quicker, lines are always 20+ minutes long. It also felt like 30 degrees in the auditorium the entire time, everyone was uncomfortable. But nothing against the comic who was more than worth the show.
New material outside of all his specials. Nate had the place in stitches with his set. The two openers were great as well, overall an awesome show. The Jubilee was well organized as well, a breeze for concessions and getting to our seats.
Nate was well as the two opening Comedians were all great. I would go see Nate again.
Great venue. Invited 4 people who had never heard of Nate and they were in tears laughing. Clean show, so anyone can participate. Recommend to go and see if you get the chance!
Worth every cent! He’s an incredibly talented comedian and very relatable. Can’t wait for him to come back!
In my opinion it takes an incredible amount of talent to make people laugh without using off color language.. Nate Bargatze's comedy is something on another level. His recounting of ordinary events and and incidences keep you coming back for more. I can watch his Netflix specials over and over and still laugh as his delivery and voice are an incredible mixture of Southern charm and witty banter. My only regret was that this event wasn't recorded so that I could take this one home as well. I would drive far and wide to watch him in person again.
Nate is a master joke teller. His comedy is so relatable and down to earth and his delivery is amazing. I laughed non stop thru the entire show. If youve never seen his comedy i highly recommend it.
I never laughed so hard in my life. The openers to Nate were unbelievable. Loved it.
Had a free Saturday evening and decided to go to a show with my wife. Nate was absolutely hilarious and did not disappoint! Wish he had more dates as we would have gone the next day.
Truly enjoyed Nate. However, Ticketmaster deserves a big fat ZERO. 1st of all, charged for parking when the venue had free parking. Secondly we paid extra for seats near the stage on the side. Could not hear a word as everything was muffled. The entire section ended up moving to the second tier seating so as to be directly in in front of the speakers. Has Brandt Center ever set up for something other than hockey games before? I think not. So spent extra on tickets only to end up sitting in cheaper upper deck seating.
This guy is hilarious. Would highly recommend. Good family friendly show.
The venue was a bit of a disaster, but the Nate was hilarious. Everyone who saw him thought he killed it.
The show was really good after we moved to the front of the stage and up a few levels, we were originally seated beside and couldn’t make out what they were saying, almost everyone from the side relocated to the front, either have the event someplace else besides a hockey arena or work on the speaker placement
Our seats were originally in section 106 and the stage was reconfigured so we were moved to section 105. That section was right next to the stage and should’ve been blocked off as well. No speakers pointing that way and you missed half of what was said. Luckily there were seats available in other sections as we, along with a few other people from our section, moved sections for the main event and the sound was much better. Comedian was hilarious! Would definitely see him again.
From what I could hear, all of thr comedians were very funny but the sound at the venue was terrible. There were complete sections of the show many of us missed because we simply could not hear it.
