Really loved my experience. It eclipsed seeing Jane Gooddall months back. The presenter was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable and wasted no time. Didnt waste 30 minutes for promotional stuff, 30 minutes to thank the Air Canada sponsor ( at an environmentally conscious event...) or 30 minutes to thank the indigenous and have an unwarranted speech not related to the experience like Jane Goodalls event. Bought tickets to the remaining shows in Vancouver and would see Naleeni again!

National Geographic Explorer at large Nalini Nadkarni delights, informs, charms, entertains, but most importantly enlightens us about our 'siblings' the trees. She is warm, funny, engaging, and passionate about our connection to them, standing up for us in every corner of the globe. An evening with Nalini is not as some might suspect a 'nuts and berries' lecture or a pandering to 'tree huggers' or an elitist talk with other climbers. Rather it is an awakening, a sharing with those of us less aware, to the existence of so much more above than our simple minds below can even fathom. Nalini has an infectious presence, an obviously brilliant mind, and is someone you wish you could put on a shelf and take down time and again to marvel at, as if she were one of earth's most precious gems, which of course she is. An absolute pleasure to be in attendance.

The concept of the NatGeo Live series is brilliant. Top experts in their field come give a personal and educational presentation about the work they love to do. Their dedication and passion about their work comes through. I saw the entire 2024/25 series. And will be trying to book the upcoming series 2025/26 as soon as it’s available. Highly recommend
