Great concert. Excellent sound, someone did their pre-show work to get vocals, band and all sound well balanced and clear. One of the best jobs in this department that I heard at Rexall. He sang all the oldies, tossed in a couple of new tunes from his latest album and got the crowd involved. Super atmosphere by nights end.
Neil's voice is not showing anything near his 74 years... amazing voice. His set was a lot of quality songs with an emphasis on ballads for the first half but picked up considerably for the last half with his greatest hits.. His encore was great and for the people who left after the 2nd round of Sweet Caroline - he did 4 more songs after that! Great show and worth another check off the artists I want to see in this lifetime!
Neil Diamond is an excellent performer. Hard to believe he's 74 as he hasn't changed after all these years. Just amazing...
He started late, his voice wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Roll on the new arena, I was so squished, I couldn't move in those seats

Neil Diamond teased about being old. But that was the last thing on our minds as he belted out beautiful song after song! He has such a gift in his voice and talent for telling a story through his music. He played all of our favourites but one (Solitary Man), and mixed in some wonderful new material. I like that we all received his new CD as a gift well in advance of the concert. Bringing along a full complement of musicians and back-up singers enhanced the whole experience. I hope he will be able to visit us again. We will always be there!
This is the fourth time I have seen him play and he never disappoints!
I love all his songs. He is a great show man. He connects with the crowd and got everyone up rocking. Loved it!
Amazing show, two non-stop hours of great tunes. Voice is still strong and song list all top stuff.
Started off a bit slow but then he got into his most popular songs. Two encores. A lot of fun.
I was simply amazed at the performance of this wonderful man. At age 74, he hasn't slowed down at all as his voice is the same as it was 40 years ago!
Neil put on a terrific show. So nice to be able see him though it's sad that it's 30 to 40 years past his prime. Woulda been nice to have him come our way earlier.
Neil, once again, has proven the old adage - Diamonds are forever. It's hard to believe that Neil is 74 years old. He hasn't lost a thing. What an unforgettable experience it is to attend one of his concerts. Being in the presence of a living legend, and sharing the energy with other fans leaves one with a natural high. Even after several courses of the great sing-along, Sweet Caroline, you're left with the feeling that you could keep doing it all night. If you have a chance to attend one of this concerts, go. Amazing!
A story teller when he sings, and you see him feeling every ounce of the crowd. He's proud yet humble. A performer with soul. I have a wide variety of genres I have seen; from Motley Crue to Neil Diamond. But If you have not had the chance to see Mr. Diamond you have missed out on one hell of an opportunity, he gets to the core of your soul. 3 rd time seeing him, remarkable show.
The music was great. There were all of my favorite oldies as well as some new terrific songs. Whoever hear of such a long encore? What's not to love.
Neil put on a great show He combined the old and the new very well His voice is still strong Loved that it was not a lot of bells and whistles just about his singing although the lights and video were amazing
Neil still has great energy and a strong voice. He has the ability to draw in the crowd and get folks singing along. It was a relaxing fun evening
Enjoyed watching the legend, Neil Diamond. It was definitely worth the expense given that he sang for over two hours. Despite his age, Diamond performed admirably with ease supported by a tight back-up group. His voice was amazing. He satisfied a partisan crowd performing hit after hit. His performance was like watching an old type of concert with no opening act, minimal lighting effects, and a band that didn't overpower the singer. The section with the home movies and quiet conversation was very low key. It gave us the opportunity to learn a little bit about Diamond's past. It could have been done more professionally. The crowd loved his encore performances as he sang Coming to America, Cherry, Cherry, Sweet Caroline to very appreciative followers. I wonder what would have happened if Diamond walked out on stage supporting a Calgary Flames hat and/or sweater!
Excellent. Could have sung for hours. Never get tired of it. The Joni Mitchell tribute very nice. His voice is amazing. Keep it going Neil! Straight singing. No warm up band. No intermission. Great sound as we always receive from SaskTel Centre
This was my first Neil Diamond Concert. We had great seats... 8th row in section V which is directly stage right.... so we could see everything, with the exception of a couple of things that took place toward the back, center stage area. I thoroughly enjoyed this concert... it was great to hear all his old songs... his voice got better after a couple of songs. Loved his humor when he said he was going to do a couple new songs and that it would be a good time to get a drink or use the facilities. He did a couple of songs of Joni Mitchell's which were a hit with the Saskatoon crowd. His back up band and singers were wonderful and seemed to be having a great time. Over all, this was a great experience!
