This is truly a timeless classic, as we have watched this show over and over. It gives shivers and goosebumps everytime, and leaves you joyously singing the songs for weeks after.
The costumes and set design were amazing, and the performers were so good it was hard to believe they were singing! Absolutely amazing show!
Actors were outstanding, but the venue is quite up to the standards. Watched several disney plays in the US the sound system, venue were the best. Scent policy for patrons were not observed.
This production was enjoyable in the classic Disney sense, but it didn't go above and beyond like the Citadel's version of the same production a couple of years ago. The sets and costumes were spectacular (although I have a bone to pick with their version of the dancing napkins and salt & pepper shakers in "Be Our Guest"), but the show as a whole somehow failed to achieve the emotional conviction that it should have. Still, if you've never seen a performance of "Beauty and the Beast" before, chances are that you will still manage to leave this one with a warm, fuzzy feeling.
It was very Disney... which being a huge fan of Disney, I was happy. I had seen Lion King a few years back, so I expected big things from this, and it didn't disappoint. I would go over and over if money was unlimited. Beauty and the Beast is my 2nd favourite Disney movie, so the story reminded me of my childhood and brought me right back into it. It was VERY well done, and the singers, were amazing!!!! It was very well done and I enjoyed it!!
I love Beauty and the Beast, and grew up with the Disney movie. This show was absolutely amazing, and was more humorous than I thought it would be. But this was a good thing. The singing and the music was so nice to listen to.
The screen was not able to go up. waited another half an hour. The scary stuff you could not see it was to dark. The singing and dancing was amazing .
Love Disney movies/musicals, and this one did not disappoint.
Absolutely loved this play! The costumes were spectacular & the set designs were so creative & detailed :) enjoyed every moment of the play.
I love Theatre! I have been to several productions at the Jubilee and they get better every time. The only thing that was a bit of a deterrant was the 25 minute start because of a technical glich. Other than that, it was WONDERFUL!
The show was absolutely wonderful! Right from the very first number, it was bright, colourful, and captivating. The cast was wonderful. I especially enjoyed Logan Denninghoff as Gaston. He was a joy to watch and made me laugh. Dane Agostinis was superb as the Beast. I could have listened to him sing all night. His interpretation of the character was spot on. I highly recommend this show to anyone and everyone. Especially if you're already a fan of the animated movie. Fantastic!
This play was good it would have been more enjoyable had there not been crying babies. It seems strange to me that people would take small childeren less then a year old to an evening play. There is no way they had a clue what was going on..
Very well done..enjoyed it. The costumes were beautiful and the music was great . Really enjoyed Gastons performance. Belle was fantastic too. Liked it when the cast all "tinged" their steins to the music. Thought that it would have been really cool for the big rose to lose its petals as the play progressed..to emphasize time running out . I did feel that the entire cast put their best effort into making it a memorable show.
Most enjoyable. The music and the vocals were excellent. The scene changes were seamless and very interesting. For such a well-known story, the presentation held our attention throughout. I was late ordering tickets and our seats were second balcony. I would recommend theatre binoculars (we brought ours) to anyone sitting up that high. It's fun to see the costumes, makeup and sets up close.
The show was amazing. My 6 years old son enjoyed every second of the show.
I enjoyed the staging & sets. The dialogue was difficult to understand on one or two very brief mon=ments.
Beauty and the Beast was an awesome show! I have already recommended it to all of my family and friends!
