Nick Lowe: classy and classic

He has written so many great tunes in many styles. His voice was excellent and his band was simply fantastic. Just so in sync with him and the music. The venue was great as well: loud enough to enjoy but all the lyrics came through clearly. His opening act was his keyboard player Geraint Watkins who was excellent as well, singing and playing and hamming it up a bit. What a great evening!
Boring

However I was hoping that the band would electrify the sound with a rock n roll sensibility instead it was countrified and not done with any energy or enthusiasm.
